Hosts Sweden had a disappointing start against Switzerland (2-3) but then won all matches against Czech Republic (2-1), Belarus (2-1) and Norway (5-1).

The Canadians were also beaten by surprise team Switzerland (2-3 SO) and won against Denmark (3-1) and Norway (7-1).

Both the Swedes – 9 points in 4 games – as the Canadians – 7 points in 3 games – could make a huge step towards the quarterfianls with a win today!
