		The Canadians had everything under controll during the last 20 minutes and kept the result 3-0! For Canada it's a big step towards the quarterfinals while Sweden suffered another setback against a top team during this tournament. Shots on goal: Sweden 17 (33) – Canada 5 (27)

Hosts Sweden had a disappointing start against Switzerland (2-3) but then won all matches against Czech Republic (2-1), Belarus (2-1) and Norway (5-1). The Canadians were also beaten by surprise team Switzerland (2-3 SO) and won against Denmark (3-1) and Norway (7-1). Both the Swedes – 9 points in 4 games – as the Canadians – 7 points in 3 games – could make a huge step towards the quarterfianls with a win today! Which team will be more succesful, we'll see in less than 15 minutes.
