Shots on goal: France 0 (29) – Germany 1 (36)
With the first opportunity of the overtime the Germans win the match and get the extra point! Marcel Goc won the puck behind the French net with a hard check and gave a perfect pass towards the slot from where CHRISTIAN EHRHOFF fired the puck into the net past the chanceless Huet!
Assisted by Marcel Goc.
Shots on goal: France 10 (29) – Germany 11 (35)
Fast attack by the Germans over the right wing. The puck comes to Frank Hördler who is stopped from short distance by Huet who allowes a rebound before MICHAEL WOLF scored into the wide open net – the deserved equalizer for Germany.
Assisted by Frank Hördler.
Shots on goal: France 7 (19) – Germany 7 (24)
Fast 2-on-3 attack by the French and it looked like Teddy Da Costa receives the puck inside the slot to deflect it past Zepp for the 2-1 lead for his side but it was an own goal by a German defender and the goal was awarded to ANTOINE ROUSSEL!
Shots on goal: France 12 – Germany 17
Nobody was there to attack CHRISTIAN EHRHOFF who used the invitation in power play and fired the puck into the left top corner from within the slot! The by now more than deserved equalizer for Germany!
Assisted by Christoph Ullmann and Thomas Greilinger.
Early power play lead for the French through JULIEN DESROSIERS who waited next to the right post and after receiving a perfect cross-pass by Nicolas Besch he scored into the wide open net!

This leaves this match rather meaningless for France and Germany who also can't be relegated anymore after the loss by Austria yesterday in their last match against Russia.
