		Brazil now seem as the top favourites for next year's World Championship that will also take place in Brazil while Spain will have to make a lot of changes in their team if they want to have a chance next year.
		Brazil very easily beat Spain with 3-0 to win the 2013 Confederations Cup in a very emotional final match in the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

		Brazil completely dominated the first half against the current World Champions from Spain who were rather helpless in defense as in offense and had only one big opportunity. Fred just after the start and Neymar just before the end of the half earned a deserved 2-0 lead for the hosts who could in less than an hour earn another trophy.

The Chelsea player gives the ball back to Neymar who from about 10 metres distance fires the ball into the left corner just below the crossbar! No chance at all for Casillas! What a blast! 2-0 Brazil and absolutely deserved!
	43	Marcelo with a long run through the midfield, jumps into his opponent and wants a free kick. Absolutely ridiculous and the referee lets the play continue.

Absolutely perfect through ball by Mata to the right for Pedro who wins the 1-on-1 with Julio César and his shot from short distance goes towards the left bottom corner but out of the blue David Luiz jumps into the shot and somehow clears the situation! Absolutely unbelievable!

	36	After Spain wasn't able to get the ball into the Brazilian area, there was another counter for Brazil but this time Arbeloa did a great job against Neymar as last man and even won a free kick.

		Tournament hosts Brazil receive Spain in the legendary Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro for the final game of the 2013 Confederations Cup – a match highly anticipated both by players and fans of both teams. Brazil had a relatively easy walk through the group stage with wins against Japan (3-0), Mexico (2-0) and Italy (4-2) before winning an exciting semifinal match against Uruguay (2-1) just in the final minutes after a hard fight. Current World Champions Spain on the other side beat Uruguay (2-1), Tahiti (10-0) and Nigeria (3-0) for a perfect group stage performance before they had huge problems with Italy in the semifinal match (0-0) before they beat them 7-6 in the penalty shootout. After the long match by Spain on Thursday the Brazilians are the clear favourites in this final match, especially as they had one day more to recover.
