		The shootout means nothing in the end though, as it's Dinamo Riga who take two points from the opening game of the Prague Hockey Cup. Kyle Wilson's overtime winner the difference maker between the two sides (15:24:53)

		Dzerins shoots wide on the backhand and that's the end of the shootout. Ak Bars take it 2-0.
		Sedlacek stops Chris Bourque on his attempt, with a big stop on the Kazan forward's backhand effort
		His shot is then saved by Barulin. However we're still going!
		Mikail Varnakov shows soft hands and nets on the forehand to make it 2-0 Ak Bars. Bukarts must score
		Miks Indrasis shoots wide on his effort, still 1-0 Kazan

	60:32	Great early chance for Ak Bars. Mikhail Varnakov carries the puck in with speed, drops it to Medvedev who gives him the pass back. The Ak Bars forward goes behind the goal and tries the wrap around but Sedlacek just gets his pad in the way

		The teams have been unable to work out a winner between them through 60 minutes, which means today's Prague Hockey Cup opener between Ak Bars Kazan and Dinamo Riga heads to overtime.

	44:58	A golden chance goes begging for Dinamo. The pass from the left wing finds Mat Robinson streaking in from the point at the back door. Barulin is rooted at the spot at his near post but Robinson puts the one timer from only a few feet out wide!

	39:37	Goal for Dinamo Riga! A simply superb piece of play by MIKS INDRASIS gets Dinamo Riga level. The young forward dekes Evgeni Medvedev out of his skates, dishes the puck to Roberts Bukarts at the back post. Bukarts taps the puck back across the face of goal and Indrasis taps the puck into the empty net.

		The players are back on the ice for the second period of today's game
		That's the end of the first period here at the Tipsport Arena. A competitive opening frame between Dinamo Riga and Ak Bars Kazan has seen the Latvian team look the better side. Barulin was forced to make two great saves early in the period, before Paul Szczechura opened the scoring with a scrappy goal in the crease. However, he won't care as he's given his team a 1-0 lead.

	14:16	Szczechura's pass from the neutral zone finds Miks Indrasis breaking into the zone with speed. He tries to find the back of the net going 1 on 2 but the combined effort of the two defenceman and Barulin does enough to keep the young Latvian forward off the scoreboard.
	13:49	Good defensive work by Pujacs knocks the puck off the stick of Tkachyov and Dinamo are able to clear the zone
	13:08	Good puck possession by Burmistrov in the Dinamo zone. He works the puck to Stapleton, whose return pass is just off target
	12:38	Stapleton finds Varnakov with an inch perfect pass at the back post, but Jakub Sedlacek shows great lateral movement, getting across the crease and keeping out the chance with his left pad.

	11:23	Goal for Dinamo Riga! PAUL SZCZECHURA had just missed a golden opportunity a few seconds before, but Dinamo kept puck possession and opened their account at the Prague Hockey Cup! It's the Canadian forward who knocks the puck in while off his feet to give Dinamo the lead.
	10:43	Stapleton goes close for Ak Bars but good defensive pressure by K.Redlihs keeps the effort out.
	10:31	And Dinamo's powerplay comes to a close after just 37 seconds. Kyle Wilson takes a tripping penalty in the offensive zone
