The Latvians take the extra point from today's game as KYLE WILSON hammers in the rebound off a Mat Robinson point shot.
A simply superb piece of play by MIKS INDRASIS gets Dinamo Riga level. The young forward dekes Evgeni Medvedev out of his skates, dishes the puck to Roberts Bukarts at the back post. Bukarts taps the puck back across the face of goal and Indrasis taps the puck into the empty net.
Straight off the faceoff Ak Bars take the puck up the other end and score! Mikhail Varnakov enters a 2 on 1 break with TIM STAPLETON and the former fires a perfect pass across the crease to the American forward who buries the puck to make it 2-1 Ak Bars
Kazan make the extra space on the 4 on 4 count. Janne Pesonen dishes a beautiful saucer pass which goes right onto the tape of ALEXANDER BURMISTROV who goes forehand-backhand and then roofs the puck.
PAUL SZCZECHURA had just missed a golden opportunity a few seconds before, but Dinamo kept puck possession and opened their account at the Prague Hockey Cup! It's the Canadian forward who knocks the puck in while off his feet to give Dinamo the lead.
