		The big story that period was the Lev penalty killing, who killed off three penalties, two of which ran concurrently for the full two minutes, but got very little in the way of shots or quality chances. Overall, it was quite a defensive period of hockey with no scoring, but a few odd-man rushes on each side which forced the two goaltenders to be sharp.
