		Atlant managed to generate more offensively and play better defense, but it still wan't enough to keep clean sheet in the second period nor to score any goals. Yugra now has a huge lead and Atlant will have to play a different game if they want to get anything out of this game.

	39:09	An interesting chance for Yugra, as they pass the puck around and finally Guntis Galvins gets to shoot from the middle of the blueline, but Galimov makes a stick deflection over the goal.

	38:36	Konstantin Koltsov led the attack over the left wing and made a pass to the left post where Vitaly Atyushov was all alone against the goalie, and managed to put the puck over the bar.

		After the first period with no penalties and very little stoppages of play, Yugra takes the lead 2:0 completely dominating the game. Atlant had only a few chances during the first 20 minutes, but Yugra were generating more on the offense and played rock solid defense to ensure the lead. Atlant will have to work on their hollow defense if they're to get anything on the attack.

	18:20	Goal for Yugra! Unbeliveable offensive display from Yugra. The feed coming from Vitaly Sitnikov from the middle blueline into the middle past both defenders, reaches KIRIL KNYAZEV who tips the puck in by Galimov and doubles the lead. Assist: Vitaly Sitnikov.
		A shot by Vitaly Sitnikov is deflected by a defender in the middle and it goes into the protective net. Faceoff coming in Atlant's zone.
		Andrei Shefer with the puck coming from the right wing going directly to the net, but his shot is well deflected by Galimov and it remains 1:0.
		Great job on the offense behind Yugra's net and the pass to the middle reaches Alexander Kadeikin who is turned with his back to the goalie and immediately covered by three defensemen, so he loses possession.
		Atlant now hit the post as they execute a shot from the slot on the right side.
		A fine opportunity for Atlant coming from the right side and the shot arrives from outside the circle clorer to the net, but Biryukov makes a shoulder save in his upper left corner.
		Atlant catches a breath on the offense with Haataja takin a shot from the left faceoff circle after a pass from the other side, but Biryukov makes a glove save and the play is stopped.
		Veli-Matti Savinainen receives a pass on the left side just outside the zone but can't get past the defender to enter the zone.
		The puck was dumped by Yugra from the left side, but it was a bit too hard, so Atlant's defense get the hold of it.
		The fans are chanting "Yugra, Yugra" as their team takes complete control of the game, having possession almost all the time.

		Another interesting play by Yugra, coming from the left corner along the goal line and then a feed to the middle by the left post for Anton Krysanov who can't score against concentrated Galimov who makes a chest deflection and pick up the puck.
		Atlant can't organize on the attack and get to Yugra's zone, leaving Yugra to lead the game in this match.
		Another great offensive display by Yugra, the attack was led from the right side and a feed was sent to the left post where Vitaly Sitnikov waited, but missed the net by inches with only a metre away.
		A great feed into the middle from the right side of Yugra's blueline gets to Maxim Mayorov who is all alone between the circles and shoots to the lower left corner of Biryukov's net, Biryukov makes a pad save and holds onto the puck.
		The game continues in Yugra's zone, but they manage to clear the danger and attack Atlant on defense.

		Konstantiv Koltsov of Atlant receives a great feed from the defense on Yugra's blueline and takes the puck over the right wing to the net, but Biryukov in net makes a stick deflection to clear the danger.
		Atlant will now have to open and get up front, but now they were charged with icing trying to put the puck up for a breakaway.

		Atlant also went through some changes. Nikolay Zherdev left for Lev Praha, but soon got his contract terminated by the club, Alexander Kuznetsov, Sandis Ozolins and Nikita Davydov left as well. Key arrivals include Janne Niskala, Igor Radulov, Bobby Sanguinetti and Evgeny Artyukhin. Stanislav Galimov in net and Konstantin Koltsov up front extended their contracts, as well as two Alexeis, Mikhonov and Petrov.
		Yugra went through a lot of changes this offseason. Two of their goalies departed, only Mikhail Biryukov stayed with the team. They saw Glazachev, Ibragimov, Osipov and Grebeshkov move, among others, but also have some fresh faces in the locker room: Guntis Galvins, Alexei Kuznetsov, Mikhail Tyulyapkin, Maxim Krivonozhkin and Veli-Mati Savinainen.
		The teams featured in today's match-up had very different starts to the new season. The home team Yugra managed to snatch a 2:1 victory over Lokomotiv on Friday, while their opponents lost to Spartak at home 0:2. Last season Yugra missed the playoffs by 3 points finishing 9th in the East and were then defeated by Avtomobilist in the first round of Nadezhda Cup and thus finished their season. Atlant, on the other hand, reached the playoffs by a point difference to 9th placed Donbass. In the playoffs they were beaten by SKA 4-1 in the first round, with two games finishing 7:0 for SKA.
