    Metallurg Novokuznetsk had a better start to the season, beating Sibir at home 3:2 scoring through Mantyla, Vyglazov and Martynov. They currently lie in 3rd position in the East with 3 points, having played only one game so far.

    Amur Khabarovsk didn't have a start to the season they wanted. They managed to get a point from Admiral, playing them at home, but never took the lead throughout the game and the newcomers from Vladivostok took the win on the shooutout, with their captain Enver Lisin being the only scorer in 8 shots.
