Final word: opening period offered surprisingly offensive guests who came in the lead early into the game. Quiet Salavat Yulaev side scored on one of few chances they had during opening period and finished first 20 minutes with score levelled. Second period was equal in terms of play, but gave home team one goal lead. Third period offered serious offensive by guests and they only managed to equalize 1:22 before time ran out. Home team made unnecessary mistake for too many players on ice 25 seconds before end of overtime and gave guests nice opportunity, which they actually realized 8 seconds before buzzer. What a sweet first win of the season for Amur Khabarovsk and what a bitter end of first seasonal home game for Salavat Yulaev!
