    Final word: guests from Minsk surprised with quite attacking approach at the start of the game and it ended with early goal for them. Pressure didn't last long and Atlant players took control of play quickly. However, home team was very ineffective and teams got into first intermission with Dinamo's one goal lead. Second period passed by with serious pressure by home team who scored twice in 10 minutes. Guests were persistent in their defensive style and didn't give much attention to attack. Final period was dull foir spectators as both teams together managed 9 shots combined. However, Atlant extended their lead to two goals in 48.minute of the game and everything seemed to be over. Well, Dinamo players did not agree and they scored their second goal 34 seconds later. After that they tried to apply some pressure, but unneccessary penalties during last three minutes destructed their attempts and Atlant won the game.

    Poor performances of Atlant at the start of current season sure disappointed most of their supporters. One win only in six games, plus shootout loss and overtime loss are not enough for ambitious Atlant organization. Their last game on Wednesday was tough 1:0 win against Donbass in Mytischi Arena. Goalies Stanislav Galimov (91.4 %Sv.) and Sergei Borisov (90.8 %Sv.) are in good form, it is attacking side of the team still not performing in the way expected from them. Alexander Kodeikin is current team's point leader with 4 points in 6 games for 1 goal and three assists. Can anybody in Atlant team explode today?
    Dinamo Minsk is even in worst form at the beginning of KHL season. Only one win in six games and one OT loss are all that this Belarus side achieved so far. They are only in front of Slovan in Western conference standings and in front of Amur and Slovan in overall KHL standings. Goalie Lars Haugen is in good form with 93,3 %Sv, Kevin Lalande wasn't so impressive (89,8 %Sv.). Geoff Platt gathered the most points (4) so far for Dinamo Mn. with 3 goals and 1 assist, so offensive side of Dinamo is yet to show their real quality.
