Lokomotiv and Dinamo Mn. might be poor on points, but they certainly produced some intersting hockey. Lokomotiv was considered favorits for this game and acted according to that title. They won the game in each single period separately and are sure entitled to new points. Fast skating, creating chances and shooting from all positions adorned Lokomotiv side today.
Dinamo on the other side presented similar face as alrady on some of their previous games. They are not particularly in a subordinate position on ice, but they loose intensity and power the more game expires. It just might be that this team lacks physical power.

Third consecutive shoot-out for Lokomotiv finally gave home team win against league's newcomer Medvescak Zagreb. Previous two shoot-outs finished with defeats against Donbass and Spartak, so the main aim for home team today is sure to win the game in regular time. Both teams (Lokomotiv and Dinamo Mn.) so far finished one game only as straight winners in this season, so there'll probably be a lot to prove in today's game. Alexei Vasilyev, the defenseman, is at the moment Lokomotiv's most prominent player with four goals in seven games. Emil Galimov (2 goals + 2 assists) and Anton But (1+3) also gathered 4 points so far. Curtis Sanford (Sv% 90.7), first choice goalie at the start of season, was injured earlier this week and Vitaly Kolesnik proved as excellent backup – his Sv% in two games is 95.0.
Dinamo Minsk was in a way close to points at Mytischi, but they lost anyway (2:3). That means their current record also is only one win in seven games and that worries Belarus team management and fans. Players are however very determined to prove their quality right versus Lokomotiv today. Goalies Lars Haugen (Sv% 92.3) and Kevin Lalande (Sv% 89.8) are OK, but they would sure built on even higher numbers if there were better support from skaters in front of them. There were 19 goals scored against Dinamo in seven games and team needs to work more aggressive on defensive part of game. Geoff Platt is the only player with 4 points (3 goals + 1 assist) from 7 games so far, none of other players managed to gather at least 3 points; sure there's a lot to be proven on offensive part too.
We'll see what happens in few hours time. Game starts 15:00 CET. Follow our live coverage.
