Todays's guests, conference rivals CSKA Moscow, stayed beyond their expectations so far with 13 points in 7 games but at least they are 7th in the West and on a playoff spot. After a horrible season opener against KHL newcomers Medvescak Zagreb (1-7) the CSKA players showed a good reaction in the following matches. Most recently they won three conseuctive games at home before they were beaten by Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (1-2) on Saturday.
CSKA are the clear favourites this afternoon in their attempt to improve their situation in the West but Vityaz are always good for a surprise.
