    Though Medvescak has home ice advantage and they are on the rise, they have one of the worse scoring defenses in the league, which gives Avtomobilists offense an opportunity to get some goals--a problem they are trying to solve.
     
    Avtomobilist had a rough run with Barys and SKA as well, but they were shut out against Dinamo Minsk, the league's worse team.
     
    Medvescak only site three points ahead of Avtomobilist, but they are currently on a three game winning streak. Those three wins included a shootout victory over SKA St. Petersburg and a defeat of Barys Astana on Saturday--the league's two best teams.
