Painful defeat against Severstal at Trade Union Sport Palace in Nizhny Novgorod didn't leave any bad traces. In fact, Torpedo players were hungry for puck, agressive and looked determined right from the start of the game. Guests are of course without their first star (Ilya Kovalchuk) and that sure has great impact on their self confidence and performances. SKA actually had more possesion in opening period, but Torpedo took what guests offered him and finished period two goals up. Second period was atomic with 5 goals and gave home team another extension to their lead. None of teams didn't risk anything in particular in final period and simply waited for the game to finish.
