Final word: Slovan opened the game in agressive style. It took some time for Admiral to get adopted for such style before they answered and took play on their sticks. Nice hockey didn't bring any goals in first 20 minutes, but sure entertained crowd in Vladivostok and around the globe. Vladivostok prevailed in middle period and applied some serious pressure. Slovan actually shocked crowd with opening goal and it took Admiral almost 9 minutes to level the result. From that moment on Admiral forced guests to defend in every possible way, but home team scored another goal 2 minutes before second intermission. Final period was precautious by home team and guests held posession. Penalties on home side meant a lot of hard work while defending, but Valdivostok players managed to do it. Final 42 seconds offered serious pressure by Slovan, but eventually Enver Lisin stole puck and scored empty-net goal for deserved victory for home team 15 seconds before final buzzer.

Welcome to Russian Far East to Admiral Vladivostok vs Slovan Bratislava game. Vladivostok lost their Tuesday game against Lev Prague in OT and they have beaten Dinamo Riga and CSKA prior to that, all in Fetisov Arena. Those were actually their first straight wins of running KHL season. However, they also have one OTW and one SOW so far in competition and are currently on 10th place of Eastern Conference standings. Joakim Lundstrom (Sv% 91.1) is in good form, but he needs better support by guys in front of him. Felix Schutz is so far the biggest threat to opposition; he is having 7 points so far (2 goals + 5 assists). Enver Lisin 6 (4+2), Viktor Drugov 5 (4+1) and defenseman Yegor Antropov 5 (2+3) are next.
Slovan's resume is similar. They've already beaten other Far East team in Khabarovsk two days ago, won also in Novokuznetsk on Sunday and were defeated vs. Sibir on Friday, all on the road. They are on bottom of Western Conference standings with Amur and Metallurg games being their first straight wins in season. They also have 2 OTW so far and are hoping for winning streak to stay alive after today's Admiral game. Miroslav Kopriva (Sv% 92.3) is in great form, Jaroslav Janus (Sv% 87.1) not particularly. Defensemen are not good at gathering points so far. Forwards – Milan Bartovic 9 (4+5) is Slovan's deadliest weapon at the moment; Michel Miklik 6 (2+4) and Juraj Mikus 5 (2+3) are next.
