    Final word:
Great crowd made impact on today's game. Fully packed Ice Sport Palace impressed with loud support for home team. They were dominating team in very entertaining, but goalless first 20 minutes, but couldn't benefit on that. Second period was also packed with action on both sides. Sibir managed to turn the result upside down after being goal behind and delighted their fans with superb fighting spirit. CSKA didn't give up and tried to apply some pressure in final period. Sibir also played attacking style of hockey and there seemed not to be any calculations on any side – simply attacking hockey. Both teams were very disciplined, although at one point CSKA played 3 on 5 for several seconds, but escaped the situation unharmed. They came closer early enough and tried to level the score for almost 15 minutes. Army Team tried to equalize in final minute with sixth skater, but did not succeed. Well deserved win for Sibir!

Sibir’s last game on Sunday vs. Dinamo Riga 81:4 defeat) was big disappointment. Guests from Latvia blew away home team with clever tactics. However, Novosibirsk managed to win vs. Lev Prague on Sunday and vs. Slovan Bratislava on Friday. They have 4 straight and on OT win in 10 games played so far in KHL season and are on 8th place of Eastern Conference standings. Sibir already used three goaliesin 10 games, Mikko Koskinen (Sv% 95.1) being the most impressive for now. Jori Lehtera 10 (3 goals + 7 assists) is the biggest threat to opposing teams by now.
CSKA have played 12 games so far. Ilya Proskuryakov (Sv% 91.3) and Rastislav Stana (Sv% 90.4) are not team’s best feature, but are also not the worst. Complete CSKA team performs sometimes great and on other occasions awfully bad. What’s it gonna be today? Alexander Radulov 10 (2+8), their most dangerous forward is absent on this trip, however, Army Team has more powerful weapons at Nikolai Prokhorkin 9 (7+2), Ilya Zubov 8 (3+5) and Igor Grigorenko 7 (4+3) amongst others. Their recent results: OT win at Novokuznetsk, win at Khabarovsk and defeat at Vladivostok.
