		A game with constant ups and downs for both sides ends with a great comeback by Barys Astana to win the match 4-3 in shootout after a 1-3 deficit. For Barys it's the 4th win in a row while Dynamo lost for the second time in their last three matches!

		In overtime Barys were a little more active but Dynamo had two big, big opportunities to win this match whcih they didn't use. Now the shootout has to bring the decision. Shots on goal: Barys 5 (40) – Dynamo 2 (28)

	64:58	With just two seconds left to play in overtime Martins Karsums almost made his hat trick perfect but he missed the net from short distance with nobody between him and the goalie!

	62:00	So far Barys are the more active team in the overtime. It almost looks like Dynamo want to save their energy for a possible shootout.

		After a power play goal by Karsums – his second of the day – everything looked like Dynamo Moscow would be the winners in this game but Barys Astana showed a lot of passion and came back with two late power play goals themselves to make it 3-3 after Dynamo failed to avoid several unnecessary penalties. 	45:11	Marek Kvapil ends a Dynamo rush with a harmless shot from the left circle that is blocked with a pad save by Yeremeyev.

		Dynamo Moscow had the better start into the middle period with a fast goal by Alexei Tsvetkov in a 2-on-2 attack. The guests afterwards were the dominant force on the ice but failed to use it for more goals. Instead Artemy Lakiza scored the equalizer with a one-timer from the left wing late in the period. With just three seconds to go Martins Karsums used a power play though to get Dynamo back in front with a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes. Shots on goal: Barys 11 (24) – Dynamo 11 (19)

	39:57	Goal for Dynamo! After winning a face off at the left circle inside the Barys zone the guessts score with the last attack of the middle period! MARTINS KARSUMS fired the puck from the right wing into the left bottom corner past the chanceless Yeremeyev to make it 2-1 Dynamo in power play!
	39:24	After a big fight in front of the Barys net the game continues without any penalties. The referees are very liberal today.

	31:19	One of the Dynamo forwards started into the guests' zone and skated past everyone before he was stopped by the last defender.
	30:53	A one-timer by Roman Derlyuk from the right circle is easily caught by Yeremeyev.

	30:32	Just when Dynamo was back at full strength they had the huge 2-on-2 counter opportunity but after a cross-pass by Leo Komarov directly in front of the net Konstantin Gorovikov's one-timer was blocked by Yeremeyev before the puck came back to Komarov who failed to get the puck over the goal line into the wide open net due to the pressure of the last defender! What a chance!

	28:00	There is a saying that a goal is only good for a game but in this case I am not so sure. After the Dynamo lead a lot of the speed of the first period is missing.
	27:10	Just when the harmless Dynamo power play ended, the hosts from Astana have their best chance of the middle period but from short distance they failed to deke out Lazushin.
	25:08	Konstantin Rudenko (Barys) gets two minutes for hooking. For the first time this afternoon Dynamo will have a power play.
	23:42	Another 2-on-2 attack by the guests but this time Konstantin Gorovikov has to break it up with no help arriving at the left wing.
	22:40	A no-look shot from the left wing at height of the blue line went past everyone and almost landed in the right bottom corner of the Barys net but somehow the puck stayed outside.
	22:30	The hosts try to get the equalizer as soon as possible with angry attacks but so far Lazushin in the Dynamo net stays calm.
	21:15	Goal for Dynamo! A 2-on-2 attack gives the guests from Moscow the surprising 1-0 lead! Maxim Karpov skated fast into the Barys third and gave a long cross-pass towards the second post which was used by ALEXEI TSVETKOV to get the puck into the right bottom corner past Yeremeyev who was a bit out of position! 		In an even first period both teams worked hard and had a large number of dangerous shots on goal but failed to use them so far, also due to strong goaltending. Especially the hosts from Astana caused their opponents a lot of trouble in defense. Shots on goal: Barys 13 – Dynamo 8

	19:31	Alone against two defenders on the right wing Gavrilin failed to force his way through the Dynamo defense.

	18:36	First Savchenko and then twice Barys team captain Upper failed to get the puck past Lazushin with shots from within the slot.

	18:00	More than half of the penalty against the guests is already over and so far their penalty killing works extremely well by not allowing a single dangerous shot on goal.

	15:25	Maxim Karpov entered the Barys third with great stick handling before he gave a perfect long cross-pass to Yuri Babenko who was completely left alone at the second post but the Dynamo forward missed the puck from short distance! What a chance!

	04:44	Zhailauov wins the puck for Barys after a faceoff but his cross-pass from just left to the Dynamo net was intercepted by a defender before it could reach a team colleague who waited alone in front of the wide open net.
	03:59	First Konstantin Gorovikov tried to deflect a distance shot into the net from short distance but Yeremeyev blocked the shot to the side but after a couple of seconds Gorovikov received the puck again in a good scoring position – with the Barys goalie having the luck on his side once more!

		Barys Astana receive Dynamo Moscow this afternoon for the match of two of the currently three best teams in the Kontinental Hockey League. While Barys are at the first place in Eastern Conference with 29 points in 12 games and a brilliant 10-2 record, the two-time Gagarin Cup winners Dynamo are second in Western Conference with 31 points in 15 games, just two points behind Conference leaders SKA St. Petersburg. So far Barys only had two games in October which they both won against Spartak Moscow (4-3) on the road and Vityaz Podolsk (3-2 SO) at home. Dynamo had already four games this month with a positive record (3-1 wins) against Severstal Cherepovets (3-1), Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (1-3) and Spartak Moscow (2-1) on home ice and Avangard Omsk (6-0) on the road. There are no favourites in this top game and a close match can be expected.
