Final word – crowd saw atomic hockey in first period – teams fired 34 shots combined (Lokomotiv 20, Amur 14), but no goals were scored. Second period was full of penalties and play was not all that good. No goals scored neither. Both teams were careful in third period and didn't allow opposition to endanger their goal. Overtime passed by scoreless and teams approached to shootout. Tarasov scored for Amurin first round and with Jarvinen's save Amur was in advantage. It was the other way around in second round when Sanford saved his goal and Apalkov scored for Lokomotiv. Petruzalek scored in third round for Amur and Khlopotov was very unlucky by hitting post in last attempt – therefore Amur took extra point from game.
