Final word – crowd saw atomic hockey in first period – teams fired 34 shots combined (Lokomotiv 20, Amur 14), but no goals were scored. Second period was full of penalties and play was not all that good. No goals scored neither. Both teams were careful in third period and didn't allow opposition to endanger their goal. Overtime passed by scoreless and teams approached to shootout. Tarasov scored for Amurin first round and with Jarvinen's save Amur was in advantage. It was the other way around in second round when Sanford saved his goal and Apalkov scored for Lokomotiv. Petruzalek scored in third round for Amur and Khlopotov was very unlucky by hitting post in last attempt – therefore Amur took extra point from game.

Welcome to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl – Amur Khabarovsk game. Today's opponents are in mixed mood – Lokomotiv started October with three consecuttive wins in which they allowed only one puck enter their net. Last two games they finished with their net empty and are hoping for winning streak to stay alive. They are on 10th position on Western Conference standings, that's good enough for 16th overall in the league. Khabarovsk is 26th in league and their performances vary from really good to dissapointing. Their last game was a defeat in Cherepovets against Severstal; prior to that they lost in OT at SKA St. Petersburg on the road. They do have single win in four games in October (3:0 against Lev prague in Khabarovsk) and are hoping for better results. Lokomotiv is considered favorites for the game, but one just has to wait and see.
Most prominent players at the moment – Yegor Averin 7 (4+3) and Sergei Plotnikov 7 (2+5) for Lokomotiv and Jan Mursak 8 (5+3) for Amur Khabarovsk.

    Welcome. Game starts at 17:00.
