Metallurg's two goals lead lasted until the front part of the third period, when home team started to put their opponents under pressure and Metallurg Magnitogorsk could not sustain it and it caused an OT win for the Latvians. Reviewing to the whole game we can say that this triumph for Riga is deserved, because they had much more scoring chances. With this two points Dinamo jumped up to the fouth place on Western Conference and has 29 points, while Magnitogorsk with this one point remained in the third place on Eastern Conference and have 28 points.
