		Welcome. Game starts at 13:00 GMT / 14:00 CET / 16:00 MSK / 19:00 local time im Omsk.
		Avangard Omsk, usually one of the top teams in the Kontinental Hockey League, had a horrible start into the 2013-14 KHL season and are currently only 11th in Eastern Conference with 15 points in as many games. In September and October Avangard collected 9 consecutive wins which forced them to change their head coach in between. In their last two matches they were successful though at home against Vityaz Podolsk (3-1) and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (5-1). Today's opponents Ak Bars Kazan who won the Gagarin Cup, the KHL championship, in 2009 and 2010, are currently on top of the Eastern Conference with 33 points in 16 games and the clear favourites against Omsk. Ak Bars won 7 out of their last 8 matches. They won all their last three away matches against Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk (4-3 OT), Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg (3-2 SO) and Barys Astana (5-0). If Avangard can continue with their positive trend or if Ak Bars defend their top position in the East to conclude their four game road trip, we'll see soon.

		The teams are on the ice while the Russian national anthem is being played. The game is about to start.
	00:01	Game started.
	01:07	Mikhail Varnakov has the first big opportunity of the game after just a bit more than a minute is played. He tries to deke out Garon just in front of the Avangard net after having received the puck deep in the home team's third but the goalie made a brilliant pad save!
	02:52	Goal for AK Bars! The guests take over the initiative from the very first moment and are already in front 1-0. After a pass from behind the net it was KIRILL PETROV who fired a one-timer from within the slot past the chanceless Garon! Assisted by Ilya Nikulin and Alexei Tereshchenko.
	04:30	The early goal against didn't stop the enthusiasm of the Avangard team which tries to score the fast equalizer with angry attacks.
	05:58	An Ak Bars rush ends with an offside call against them.
	06:34	Goal for AK Bars! The guests from Tatarstan show why they are the leaders in the East. With little efforts they are able to score goals. ALEXANDER BURMISTROV tried it from the right circle and the puck went past the crowd in front of the Avangard net to beat Garon into the right top corner! The home goalie didn't look too good in this situation! Assisted by Tim Stapleton and Shaun Heshka.
	07:39	Alexander Popov has the first dangerous shot on goal for Avangard but his attempt from short distance was just blocked to the side by Garipov!
	08:36	Oleg Kvasha (Avangard) gets two minutes for holding. It's the first penalty of the game.
	09:02	With several fast passes just in front of the Avangard net the guests were able to get the home defense out of position but in the end a defender cleared the puck deep into the Ak Bars zone.
	10:32	A blue line shot by Ak Bars' Shaun Heska is deflected wide by a defender.
	10:36	The hosts are back at full strength after a solid penalty killing.
	11:32	The hosts try it from the left circle but the puck goes wide.
	12:07	Another shot on goal by the Avangard offense, this time from the blue line, but Ak Bars goalie Garipov does a great job so far.

	14:15	Avangard increase the perssure significantly and could have easily cut the deficit already. If they continue like this it should be only a question of time until they are on the scoreboard.
	15:23	Icing against Ak Bars.
	15:38	Delayed penalty against Ak Bars!
	15:54	Goal for Avangard! And with the delayed penatly the hosts are able to score the 1-2! DMITRY SYOMIN was the first to react out of the crowd in front of the Ak Bars net and fired the puck past Garipov into the right corner! Assisted by Alexander Frolov.
	18:00	The game is very open by now. Both sides have several shots on goal but without really getting the other side into trouble.
	18:24	A one-timer from the blue line is stopped by Avangard goalie Garon.
	19:29	Sergei Kostitsyn tries it from the left circle, only hits the chest of Emil Garipov.
	19:58	After receiving a pass inside the neutral zone Alexander Popov beat the last defender in the race towards the net but his shot from the right circle was blocked to the side in the last moment by Garipov!
	19:58	Alexander Burmistrov (Ak Bars) gets two minutes for hooking.
	20:00	1st period finished.
		Ak Bars Kazan started incredibly efficient into the first period with two fast goals but Avangard Omsk showed the right reaction and were able to increase their pressure on the opposing net to which was rewarded by cutting the deficit to the half. Shots on goal: Avangard 14 – Ak Bars 6
	20:01	Start of 2nd period.
	20:59	Goal for Avangard! The hosts started with a man more into the middle period due to the penalty against Burmistrov late in the previous period and early in their power play they are able to score the equalizer! After a pass from behind the net by Alexander Frolov his team mate DMITRY SYOMIN scored with a one-timer from short distance! In the exact same constellation they already had scored their previous goal! Assisted by Alexander Frolov.
	21:35	Ak Bars almost with the direct answer but after a pass from behind the net Tim Stapleton wasn't able to get his one-timer from within the slot past Garon – the goalie somehow kept the puck on the goal line!
	23:28	Denis Kulyash dekes out his opponent at the left circle but then his shot from there was blocked by a Kazan defender.
	25:38	Evgeny Bodrov's shot from just left to the Avangard net was stopped by Garon and when the Ak Bars forward tried to get the rebound he almost stepped on the gloves of the goalie which led to a little argument.
	27:05	Kirill Lyamin (Avangard) gets two minutes for holding. It's only the first power play opportunity for the guests. In their first one they stayed without a goal.
	27:33	Long passing combination between Petrov and Nikulin on the right wing but they don't find someone in a good scoring position so that the following blue line shot created no danger.
	28:08	A long clerance by the hosts gives the Avangard penalty killing some time to take a breath.
	28:47	In his attempt to keep the puck inside the Avangard third a guest defender almost allowed a break away for the hosts but in the end he could clear the situation by himself deep inside the guest third.
	29:05	The hosts are back at full strength and theyir penalty killing stays at 100%.
	30:04	Two minute team peanlty against Ak Bars Kazan. In the penalty box sits down Tomas Vincour. Avangard are 1 for 1 today in power play and they also scored with a delayed penalty!
	31:07	Denis Kazionov's shot from just right to the guest net was stopped by Garipov but he allowed a rebound which Kazionov couldn't reach with his stick. Bitter as the right half of the net was wide open by then!
	32:04	The guests only allowed one dangerous situation and are back at full strength now. They improved their penalty killing to 50%.

	34:36	A nice individual effort by Varnakov almost gave the lead back to Ak Bars but in the end Garon was able to avoid being deked out by the guest forward!
	35:36	Several Avangard players missed a long cross pass by Alexander Perezhogin from the left wing and this made the situation that dangerous as the puck almost ended up in the right bottom corner!
	36:30	After an Ak Bars rush Tim Stapleton tried it already from teh blue line but his shot was not really well aimed and Garon made an easy pad save!
	38:14	Dmitry Syomin received the puck deep inside the neutral zone and after waiting a moment he suddenly started with a nice solo, deked out two opponents but in the end his scoring attempt from short distance was kept outside by Garipov!
	40:00	2nd period finished.
		In an even middle period the special teams made the difference as Avangard were able to score the equalizer for the 2-2 with their first power play of the match. Afterwards an even match developed with chances on both sides but no more goals followed. Avangard had more shots on goal and they also made the more dangerous impression! 	41:08	Alexander Popov has the first shot on goal of the midle period but his scoring attempt from the right wing was easily stopped by Garipov.

	43:15	The guests from Kazan are intensifying their efforts at the start of this period.
	44:58	Ak Bars' Dmitry Obukhov almost with a half minute of puck possession behind the Avangard net but he doesn't find a team colleague in a good scoring position. Just when he is forced to make the pass it goes wide at the left post...
	45:38	High speed rush by Avangard but Oleg Kvasha is stopped by the goalie with a direct shot from short distance!
	46:38	Avangard's Ivan Baranka tries to snipe the puck in from the blue line but he misses the guest net.
	47:03	Janne Pesonen started a bit too fast and there is an offside call against him.
	48:40	Nice solo by Alexander Frolov via the right wing but his cross-pass from just right to the Ak Bars net reaches no team colleague...
	50:06	Double chance for Mikhail Varnakov but first his shot from short distance was blocked before he couldn't get the rebound past the pads of Garon!
	50:32	Alexander Perezhogin (Avangard) gets two minutes for high-sticking. This first power play of the third period could make the difference in a clsoe game. So far Ak Bars are 0 for 2 this afternoon.
	51:43	A solo by Burmistrov ends with a shot from within the slot that is no danger for Garon inside the Avangard net.
	52:22	A one-timer by the guests goes wide...
	52:32	The hosts are back at full strength after a harmless Ak Bars power play.
	53:22	After their successful penalty killing Avangard have the momentum and try it with shots from all possible angles. The home fans come awake with loud chants!
	54:37	A distance shot by Denis Kulyash from deep within the neutral zone is blocked to the side by Garipov.
	55:00	With the time progressing both teams look a bit nervous. Will a late goal decide this match or will we see overtime?
	57:15	Currently there are no real chances but both teams fight very hard for every puck. Nobody wants to go out of this game without a single point.
	57:37	A shot by Avangard's Kalinin from the right circle goes wide past the left post...
	58:00	Two minutes are left to play.
	58:54	Incredible! With a shot from short distance Avangard hit the goal post! The home fans were already on their feet but the luck was not on their side!
	59:35	Avangard force their opponents deep into their own third but without being able to score.
	59:56	Oleg Kvasha is injured after receiving an elbow hit to the face by Evgeny Bodrov behind the Ak Bars net! The home fans are furious!

	61:41	2-on-2 attack by Ak Bars but Dmitry Obukhov misses the right bottom corner with his shot from the left wing.

	62:49	Goal for AK Bars! JANNE PESONEN decides the match in favour of Ak Bars with a goal from short distance after Garon failed to stop a shot from the right wing!

		For the third time in their four game road trip Ak Bars Kazan win a match in extra time. Avangard Omsk were rewarded for their efforts and the race to catch up at least with a point. Shots on goal: Avangard 0 (38) – Ak Bars 3 (21)
