    Welcome. Game starts at 15:00.

Welcome to Barys vs. Torpedo game. Bary lost on their last home game vs. Ak Bars (0:5) and only managed to beat Dynamo Moscow prior to that – also in Astana – in SO (4:3). Another SO home win also took place two days before that vs. Vityaz (3:2) and Astana fans are sure in anticipation for first October straight home win. In fact – Barys only managed to win one game in 60 minutes in October – it was October 1st road win against Spartak. However, they are on second place at Eastern Conference standings and that's good enough for fourth position in KHL overall standings. Talgat Zhailauov is at the moment their most prominent player with 17 points in 14 games for 4 goals and 13 assists.
Torpedo's last game was road defeat against Avangard two days ago (1:5). Prior to that they also lost road game vs. Yugra (3:4), but also beat Avtomobilist (4:2) on the road. They are on sixth place on the East, that's 15th overall. Sakari Salminen is having the most points near his name as far as Torpedo players are listed – he scored 5 goals and added 9 assits for 14 points in 14 games.

    Final word -
Nice hockey was played throughout opening period. Teams shot 26 shots combined and home team managed to get one goal up. Second period was a bit more dull, teams fired 19 shots combined and each scored single goal. Most of final period passed by in some sort of Torpedo's pressure, but Barys' fast breakaways were very dangerous. As soon as they scored third goal, Torpedo scored their second and once again got in hunt for equalizer. Their attacking style left a lot of space for Barys counter attacks. Home team already scored fourth goal some 5 minutes before final buzzer, but refferees disallowed it. Final Torpedo's pressure with empty net did not end up luckily for them as home team scored another goal and won the game deservedly.
