This is a quite square match so far and both teams are trying to attack.

Stranzl kicked the ball accross the sideline, thus Ramos could not take it.

Kruse's chip pass towards Raffael was too short.

Kruse again. He lofted the ball inside again, Kraft jumped forward like a lion and caught it confidently.

In the last ten minutes the game is calm. Although, teams are trying to attack, but they are defending well too.

Ramos gained a corner kick.

Skjelbred's corner kick is not dangerous, defencemen made a clearance.

Herrman was struggling for the ball and got it, then passed back to Kruse, who was arriving in the second wave and shot clearly, but it was not a hard job for Kraft to catch the ball.

Pekarík is tackled in Gladbach's territory, but then another cross was arriving, no problem for the defenders.

Van den Bergh stopped Kruse with a totally perfect sliding tackle in the box. Corner kick is going to be.

Kruse shot it inside, Kraft went out from the goal line on right time and puched it away.

Ben-Hatira sent the ball inside – no danger.

Kobiashvili did the same it was cleared too.

Skjelbred gains a free kick against Kramer.

Mönchengladbach does not want to go to the half time when they are one goal down. They are putting Hertha under pressure.

Kruse deceived van den Bergh on the right, but the left back just got back and deflected the ball between Kraft's hands.

Hosogai is fouled by Herrmann, still no yellow card for Herrmann.

Ben-Hatira tumbled down thus he could not make breakaway.

Pekarík was left alone with Kruse, but the Slovak right back tackled him perfectly!

After a nice counterattack Ben-Hatira passed the ball towards Skjelbred who was in scoring situation, but Bouwers reached it and cleared.

Hertha started te second half.

Arango is on the ground aching his ankle. But no problem, he can continue playing.

Kruse lofted the ball inside, the ball bounced out of bounds from Bouwers.

Ramos broke inside from the left and made a shot, ter Stegen held it.

Guests is in attack.

Arango fired the ball badly over the bar from outside the box.

After the subsequent free kick Raffael wheeled the ball back to Stranzl who missed the target.

Now Stranzl has to be ready in front of Gladbach's goal. He cleared the ball to a corner kick.

Skjelbred was behind the ball, but his corner kick was headed away by the defencemen.

Wendt is checked by Allagui – advantage rule.

Kobiashvili committed a foul on Kruse, who would had broken forward. This was the last foul without the referee showing the second yellow and the red card!

Head coach of Hertha thinks: it is better to take Kobiashvili down than risk he gets red card.

Allagui took a pass from the middle and centred it to Ramos, who scored a goal. But Allagui was flagged offside by the linesman.

Reviewing the replay we can clearly state: Allaugui was definitely on-side! Wrong decision by the referee!

Stranzl has to clear again with a sliding tackle in the box.

Skjelbred's corner kick did not find Ramos.

Skjelbred's another corner is also cleared by Arango from the near post.

Schulz had an opportunity from the right of the goal area, but he directed his shot poorly and it went wide so much.

Allagui's cross in is bad for all of the team mates.

Kraft has to be focused after a delivery from the left side. He grabbed the ball.

Jantschke interferenced van den Burgh next to the sideline – free kick.

In spite of the fact that home team has the lead they prevailed the game instead of defending tightly. Now it seems this is going to change. Mönchengladbach is coming and trying to attack and equalize.

Ramos tried to pass the ball to his team mate with a back header, but it was god only for ter Stegen.

Schulz tried to deceive Jantschke on the left, bud the defender kicked the ball away.

Although, Gladbach have had much more shots so far it does not mean that they are more dangerous than Hertha. They have chances approximately as much as visitors have.

Gladbach is pressing, but Hertha BSC is defending tightly.

Gladbach attack is over. Allagui stole the ball, then Wendt committed a foul on him free kick for Hertha.

De Jong flicked the ball towards Kruse, but it was not good enough.

With this substitution now it is sure that Raffael will not play against his brother, Ronny. No changes left neither of the teams.

Kruse was carrying the ball on the right, then delivered it to Hrgota, whose shot went over the bar so, so, so much.
