Medvescak is finally back home while Amur starts their tour around the KHL. After 8 straight wins, Medvescak recorded five straight losses, only one of them at home, which started the chain. Amur have a negative streak of three losses, and want to improve their record against the newcomers to the league.

Medvescak is still, despite their losses, inside play-off range sitting at 8th seed in the West. Their current record holds at 7-7-7 and 30 points altogether.

As for Medvescak's leaders, Ryan Vesce leads in points with 19 (8+11), while Matt Murley (6+11) and Jonathan Cheechoo (10+3) follow. Cheechoo is as well their top goal-scorer.

On the defense, Kurtis Foster still shows he can score producing four goals, but setting up nine for a total of 13 points. Matthieu Carle has 10 (2+8).

Mark Dekanich recovered from his injury and featured in a few games lately so now he has 8 starts, 92 SVS% and 2.81 GAA. Barry Brust still has a better record (93.2 SVS% and 2 GAA) but with 13 games between the pipes.

Their today's counterpart, from distant Khabarovsk aren't doing so well this season. They're currently 13th in the East, only three points away from being the worst team in the league, or at least tied for it. Having a negative record of 3-8-9 explains their situation.

Amur balance between their goal scorers so only Sergei Smurov regarding forwards hasn't got any point so far. Alexander Yunkov and Jakub Petruzalek both have 10 points and exactly the same balance between goals and assists – 6G, 4A. Jan Mursak (6+3) and Timofei Shishkanov (3+6) follow with 9 points.

Vladimir Logionov proves to be their best defenseman regarding goal scoring and setting the puck. He atops both categories with 2 goals and 5 assists for a total of 7 points.

In net, Alexei Murygin holds most starts and the best stats. In 11 games featured he allowed 2.68 goals on average and stands at 92 SVS%. Mika Jarvinen featured in 9, 90.9 SVS% and 2.89 GAA.

The match guarantees to be interesting as both teams are looking to break their negative record. Medvescak won't miss any motivation as they're playing in front of their unbeliveable fans, while Amur will pay their first visit and we'll see how they will react to the atmosphere. Medvescak immediately go on the offense following the faceoff.

Nothing special happening on the ice as both teams take the puck coast-to-coast without any real organization.

Barry Brust makes the first save as Amur threaten from the middle entering the zone.

Artyom Kryukov dumps the puck in with two men in front, but goes directly into Brust who holds on for a faceoff.

Medvescak take over in their zone and go on the attack but the dump in from the right side finds no one so the puck leaves the zone on the opposite side.

Icing Medvescak, the faceoff will come deep back into their zone.

Amur try to take the puck down the ice and manage to keep it inside for a few moments, but lose possession and Medvescak can regroup.

Vesce and Pikkarainen play back-and-forth pass on the right side, but the feed back misses everyone, Amur ice the puck, and again the faceoff comes deep back.

High-tempo to the game, Medvescak dominates mostly, but can't get any quality shots on net. The fans today are not as loud as they use to be.

Matt Carle tries to jeopardize Murygin's net on a feed from the left to the slot, but his one-timer is not such big of a deal for Amur's goalie.

Medvescak dump the puck to take the line change as the first line spent some time on the ice.

Medvescak keep the puck in the zone as their second line puts pressure on Amur who can't take hold of it.

Murygin makes another chest save as the puck is sent to the slot from the right boards, but the one-timer is direct into the goalie.

Off the faceoff, Kurtis Foster tries to shoot from the blue line, but gets blocked as the puck is sent out.

Medvescak's dominance woke the fans up, and the atmosphere is a lot louder now.

After Amur spent some time in Medvescak's zone, they get back in their zone controlling the puck and the game.

Due to some technical difficulties we're not able to get a feed from every minute, we hope they'll resolve the issues in the second period.

Less than 4 minutes to the end, the game is again coast-to-coast, but neither team can get a good shot on goal.

Ryan Vesce with two men in front tries to take a shot from the left post, but can't get a good powerful shot, so Murygin deflects without any problems.

Amur try to take a quick breakaway, though the shot from the left circle is easily deflected by Brust, who takes it aside for his defense to clear.

One minute left in the first period.

The first shot of the second period comes on Murygin who makes the save with his his chest and then covers the puck in front of the crease.

Artyom Kryukov takes the shot in the zone from the left circle, outside of it to be precise, no problem for Brust.

Hugh Jessiman fires a shot on Murygin who makes a deflection aside, though Jessiman can't get the puck behind the net, and the play moves to the opposite end of the rink.

A shot by Medvescak coming from the left wing, a good aimed wrister misses the net by inches to the left and hits the boards behind, still no score tonight.

Klimchuk takes the puck into the zone over the right and fires a wristshot from the right faceoff spot, Brust makes the deflection into the glass, Amur recover but in the end their shot from the opposite side goes into the netting. Still we haven't seen a penalty tonight.

The net comes loose as Brust makes a save, so we'll have a little break in play until it's fixed.

Two shots from Medvescak, Murley taking the first from the right, Murygin deflects to the left side and the second is on the deflection one-timed, but Murygin again saves the day.

Amur is back to full strenght.

Andrew Murray tries to fire from the right side outside the circle, Murygin is ready for it and deflects the shot.

After a chance for Amur, as they go into the zone over the left wing, the feed along the boards to the other side can't be kept in and Medvescak get an opportunity to keep Murygin busy from the left side. He stops for a stoppage and a faceoff in the zone.

Amur quickly take the puck from their zone to the opposite end over the right wing, fire a shot from the boards, but only for Brust to make a save.

Andrei Stepanov can't beat Brust from the slot as he gets the feed right in front of him, but Brust is really incredible.

Amur are desperate to get on the offense again, but as they enter the zone they can't get an open gap to take a shot.

Barry Brust is forced to make the first save of the period immediately as Dylan Reese tried from the blue. Amur is still on the powerplay.

Sasa Martinovic gets back onto the ice as they're back to full strength.

Young Patrick Bjorkstrand tries to quickly get the puck into the zone, but loses possession at the left circle and Amur will regroup.

Jan Mursak finds himself smashed into the goal as he went past Carle but he made it back and took a legal check on him from the side. The net is lookse, Mursak couldn't take a shot and we have a little stoppage.

Barry Brust caught an easy puck from the neutral zone and held onto it for a stoppage, very unlikely of him.

Medvescak get the puck into the zone on the left wing, Bill Thomas holds onto it and sends a feed but they can't keep it in.

It must be frustrating for Amur to continue playing, after working so hard for the goal, Medvescak respond at once. And they keep on attacking.

Murley tries to find Thomas in the slot from the right wing who is right in front of the crease, but with the defender checking him can't get a good grip on the feed.

Michael Ryan has the puck on the left boards, sends a feed to the middle, Murygin deflects to the opposite side, the attack continues.

Despite their constant pressure, Medvescak manage to lose possession and Jan Mursak again gets down the ice to take the shot, Brust is focused.

Amur back at full strength.

Michael Ryan wants to take the puck into the zone dumping it past the defense, but can't be the first on it at the boards.

Shishkanov and Stepanov keep the puck in for Amur, but there is no way they could get a shooting chance as Medvescak close the gaps.

Jonathan Cheechoo and Vladimir Loginov collide in the neutral zone and start a fight, the referees try to separate them but they continue, so they'll both draw penalties.

There should be more space on the offense for both teams as the play is 4-on-4.

A minute gone by of the penalty, only one shot so far from Medvescak, Murygin put a good save, and both teams fire the puck to the opposite side to get some rest.

Two minutes left in the third period.

Both teams are back at full strength.

Brust plays a little game with the nerves of his fans and behind the net plays the puck but hits his own team mate but manages to retrieve and Medvescak clear the danger.
