    Final word – teams were quite equal in every possible aspect during first and second period. That proves a result – it was 2:2 after 40 minutes played. Guests from Zagreb were the better team in third period, but coul not capitalize on their numerous shots. Their goalie saved them in first seconds of overtime, but was beaten once in shootout; on contrary – his colleague on the other side Alexander Sudnitsin managed to stop all three attempts of Medvescak players and extra point deservedly got to hom team.

    Neftekhimik is close to the bottom of Eastern Conference standings. October wasn't good at all and they certainly hope November will bring positive streak. Medvescak on the other side is sure a surprise of current KHL season. Who would have thought that English speaking Croatian tem can reach so high? They are at the moment 7th in Western Conference standings, but were already higher in the middle of October. They are capable of playing attractive hockey. Their home games are spectacular, but they can also perform well on the road. What will prevail today – easy going game-by-game style by Medvescak ot much needed rush in play of Neftekhimik?
