After so many chances on the power play they finally cash in to end this game. MARTIN SEVC, who had a lot of shots today, fired an absolute bullet from the point, off the post and in, and judging by his reaction Kovar didn't see it at all with traffic in front.
Shots on goal in the 3rd period (and game): Lev 12 (27), Avtomobilist 7 (18).
Overtime begins at 21:10 CET, 15:10 EST.
From a scramble for the puck high in the Lev zone, the puck came out to SERGEI DEMAGIN, who used Oystrick as a screen and beat Petri Vehanen along the ice between the legs to tie this game. Assist: Fyodor Malykhin.
Shots on goal in the 2nd period (and game): Lev 5 (15), Avtomobilist 7 (11).
3rd period begins at 20:37 CET, 1437 EST.
It started with a shot by Novotny that Kovar got an arm on, then Maenpaa from the point and he made another save, but JAKUB KOVAR was there to put in the rebound. Assist: Mikko Maenpaa.
The puck was rung around the boards in the Lev zone and two passes later it was on the stick of SERGEI DEMEGIN, who ripped it high glove side on Vehanen. Assists: Alexei Simakov, Igor Yemeleyev.
Avtomobilist begins with almost a full power play, as Jakub Klepis went off for hooking with 3.8 seconds left in the 1st, so there's still 1:57 on the clock.
Shots on goal in the 1st period: Lev 10, Avto 4.
2nd period begins at 19:50 CET, 13:50 EST.
Dominik Pacovsky shows some nifty puckhandling along the boards to elude a check, passes to Calle Ridderwall down low and he finds RYAN O'BYRNE sneaking in from the point, who one-times it home. Assists: Calle Ridderwall, Dominik Pacovsky.

Things didn´t start much better this season, as they won only 4 of their first 15 games, but they´ve sure turned things around since then, and Avtomobilist motors into Prague on a seven-game winning streak. They currently sit 6th in the Western Conference with 36 points in 25 games.
"The beginning of the season was not so great, but over time we started to improve a lot," says Sami Lepistö, a player well-familiar to Lev fans. Last season, the Finnish blueliner recorded 5 points in 14 games as a Lion. So far this year, he has 12 points in 24 games to lead all Avtomobilist defencemen.
As for Lev, they got off to a great start this season, then leveled off after a sudden coaching change. With a week to practice under new bench boss Kari Jalonen, though, the team seems ready to charge out of the gate following the break.
"Gradually we began to change our game before the break," said defenceman Ondřej Němec. "The coach started to implement his system on our team before, and now we have had a lot of time to work on it. I think the last game in Atlant showed that it works."
