This match was not the best one. Good speed, not too combinative play, lack of huge chances, only a few ones.
Freiburg is still in a threatening situation of eliminating from the 1st class (Bundesliga), stayed in 16th place.
Thanks for attention!

Schalke got a penalty due to a foul in the penalty area – but the replay showed it was some cms in front of the line against Jones.
FARFAN shot it on the left side, no chance for Baumann.
No big chances, only a single goal, in addition it was an own goal.
At the start of the half, Freiburg had more attacks, in the second half, Schalke had more ones and the leading is deserved due to this. We cannot see the nine places difference on the table in this match.
Freiburg also had the possibility to score goals so we can expect better play and more dangerous opportunities in the second half.
Stay with us, we'll be back after the break!

What a goal! A corner was coming in from the left, Höfler couldn't avoid to kick in the ball from a meter, and it bounced into his own net! What a shame for HÖFLER, scoring an own goal! Schalke has taken the lead.
