After a boring 1st half, they performed really well in the second one. Many dangerous chances, but Leverkusen missed everything they could.
In the mean time Eintracht's goalkeeper, Trapp was in outstanding form, doing skilled saves all the time and his net remained intact today despite Leverkusen had at least 10 shots and many of them to the target.
Frankfurt scored an amazing win against the 2nd placed Leverkusen at the BayArena and scored 3 very very vital points in the championship!
Eintracht still in 15th place, but now having 3 points advantage over Freiburg and 4 over Nürnberg.
Leverkusen lost more than a match, Bayern München (Munich) got away by 7 points advantage already, Dortmund is 5 more units behind.
The speed and atmosphere was outstanding.
Thanks for the attention!

Bender and Kruse out, Derdiok and Hegeler in now to the pitch for the last 22 minutes.
Unbelievable, this is football!
15 minutes lasted without any chance of attack for the visitors. But they didn't let go the one and only!
Jung kicked the ball in from the right and RUSS had a perfect header into the middle of Leno's goal!
Leverkusen wasn't doing too much for scoring, both teams wanted to focus on defence and not taking too much risk.
The goal is in the air, any of these two teams can score, not a big difference after the 1st half.
Leverkusen dominated the last 25 minutes with ball possession but no real danger for the goal.
Stay with us with the 2nd half, we'll be back after the break!

Just think about last season's Champions League final Bayern Munich against Borussia Dortmund.
And now in the last 16 of the CL, 4 German teams are qualified, including Bayer Leverkusen.
Eintracht Frankfurt lost their last match against Hoffenheim and it was a home defeat. In the last 5 matches, Eintracht scored 2 wins, 2 defeats and a draw and lying on the 15 place only on Bundesliga table.
Home team Leverkusen suffered a devastating 0-5 (historical loss of team) against Manchester United, but after it they changed form heavily and scored 4 wins in a row, including the already mentioned close victory in the CL on Wednesday.
In the league, Bayer is standing in the superb 2nd place, only 4 points behind CL-winner Bayern München and 7 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund.
They hang on three different parts – league, CL and German Cup! The chance of this match is clearly by home team Leverkusen. But don't forget that Frankfurt desperately need as many points as possible to escape the elimination to the 2nd German league.
We can expect a big fight on this match, follow us from 17:30 on Sunday evening!
