    Good afternoon, and welcome to Sochi for this Channel One Cup match between the hosts Russia and world champions Sweden. This is the third stage of the Euro Hockey Tour, and the Russians currently are second overall, with the Swedes third.

    That's the final buzzer, and it's Russia's day with a 3-2 victory over Sweden! A fantastic match from start to finish we've seen today. Tom Wandell gave the Swedes the lead but defenceman Maksim Chudinov replied quickly. In a frantic third period Chudinov celebrated his second goal of the game only for Burstrom to peg the Russians back, but young Prohorkin gave the tournament hosts an in the end, deserved victory.
