    It's the game of the day, Atlant against Salavat Yulaev! A rematch of the 2011 Gagarin Cup final. Both these teams will have to work miracles if they are to go that far again this season though. Today's hosts Atlant sit in 9th place of the Western Conference four points off a playoff slot, but Salavat have no such troubles with 65 points to their name and currently are 4th in the Eastern Conference.

    The final buzzer has sounded, the final score is 5-2 in Salavat Yulaev's favour! A game that was won in the second period where they managed to score four goals compared to Atlant's one. Teemu Hartikainen was the star of the show with a double, and Andrey Vishnevskiy and Sergey Zinovyev managed to score also in that period. The fate of the match was already decided before the third period but Nikita Filatov scored another goal for the Ufa side, before at the end Aleksey Mikhnov got a consolation goal for the hosts.
