Amur win the opening faceoff and Petrualek sends a dump in from the left into the open ice, but they can't beat Ahonen on the rebound.

Barys take the zone trying to make some space for the shot, but Amur ice the puck clearing the puck.

And yet another icing following the faceoff.

Stepanov wins the draw and circles the net, but the flip pass ahead never reached the designed team mate, Barys take over and regroup.

Mikhail Panshin fires one up as he enters the zone in the middle, easy deflection for Murygin on the play.

Barys again in the zone, as they dominate on the offense in the last couple of minutes, but Murygin successfully deflects all the shots.

A faceoff in center ice and off the faceoff won by Dmitry Upper Barys fire through to Murygin, though he's only able to make the deflection.

Amur build on the attack in the zone circling around before Petruzalek fired from the right, but that gets blocked and Barys go on the counter, though Amur show good transitional defence.

Murygin makes another save as Barys continue to put high pressure.

Amur didn't show too much on the powerplay as Barker skates back onto the ice.

Barys don't show intentions to stop as they continue to bomb Murygin in net, while he doesn't get much help from defence, terrible covering in the zone.

Barys clear and Murygin stops it giving his defence chance to pick it up.

Amur dump the puck in to the right, Barys clear the danger but ice the puck on the way.

Amur try to build on the attack from their own end, but then have to give the puck away as Barys put on a high forecheck.

Amur now find themselves back with a two goal deficit, but still can't organize an offense in the zone.

Dustin Boyd sends a shot/pass from the blue into the slot, but the defense meet the puck before it reached Murygin and help deflect it to the right.

Amur look completely stunned as they allow Mikhail Pashin to break on the left and take the puck into the slot, though he doesn't get the shot right as it was blocked rightin front.

Mikhail Klimchuk skates over the right and tests Ahonen who is focused and ready.

Barys dump the puck on the left, and by the boards it reaches the opposite, Jarvinen starts off with a deflection.

Dmitry Tarasov goes for the break, but gets covered tight in the middle just as he crosses the blue and Barys clear the puck while Amur are able to retain possession.

Dmitry Upper sends the backward pass into the slot from the left, though Cam Barker couldn't wrap it up and it goes wide to the right.

Yunkov got too close to the net and gave Ahonen the chance to cover the corner more easily.

Jakub Petruzalek gets into the zone but a sweep check from the defense takes the puck away.

Evgeny Orlov is down on the ice after he tried to circle the net, and couldn't get up by himself. though it seems he picked up an injury during the fall, so no penalty will be assigned. He's off to the locker room and it doesn't look good. Let's hope it's nothing serious.

Right off the faceoff Amur fire from the left, Ahonen freezes the flip shot from the spot.

Barys back at full strenght and will have the powerplay now.

Amur beaten to the point, and Barys still dominate in the zone.

A glimpse on the other side by Vladimir Loginov who shoots from the left as he enters the zone, Ahonen covers the puck and freezes the clock with a dive into the slot due to previous dropping on the shot, and then a little pushing and shoving as the defence protect their goalie from Loginov who was going for the puck at full speed.

Amur fire a couple of shots from the spot, Ari Ahonen is there in net to cover for all of them and keep the result unchanged.

Amur go down the ice as Barys missed the opportunity on the feed into the slot, but Amur can't pull anything of it.

One minute to go in the second period.

Fyodor Polishchuk puts Jarvinen to another test as he reaches the slot from the left, but he stones him cold.

Alexander Yunkov misses the points of the game as he dives into the net, instead of putting the puck in it.

What a powerplay for Barys today going 5 for 6 so far and still rolling as Amur probably can't wait for this humiliation to stop. They're just playing with them.

Ari Ahonen makes an easy save on Korotkov's shot back from the point.

Sergei Abramov goes for the dump in into the open ice, but Barys' defence win the race and take over the puck.

Konstantin Rudenko breaks into the zone over the left and in position to shoot gets a drop pass in the slot for Konstantin Romanov but he gets covered well and there goes the chance to increase the lead.

Ari Ahonen makes the save as Timofei Shishkanov tries his luck in the right circle after a defensive mistake by Barys, but the concentration is loosen as they built a huge lead.

Nothing significant going on as both teams loosen up a bit letting the clock wind down, Barys with possession though only at safe distance.

Well, Jarvinen still has a lot to do as Boyd drops a pass for Brandon Bochenski who fires high, but the goalie is able to pull off a chest save.

Roman Savchenko finds himself in open ice at the point and strikes one hard at Jarvinen who makes the save but receives the shot into the head, the facemask actually and is a bit stunned but gets up after a while.

The goalies of Amur distributed the goals well, both let in four. Though Jarvinen has a chance to let in more.

Mikhail Rakhmanov is eager to get a goal today as he's once again in position inside the zone, but the shot gets deflected off Jarvinen into the netting.
