		A fantastic bounce-back effort from the Czechs, both offensively and defensively, as they clinch 3rd place in Group A with a 4-1 victory over Slovakia. With the loss, Slovakia finishes 4th. Their quarterfinal opponents are still to be determined by the outcome of the two Group B games today. 1st and 2nd places in Group A are still to be determined by the last game tonight, between Canada and USA. Don't miss that one.

After another horrible start to the second period, the Slovaks played well the last half of that period and finally got a goal at the end, but they still have an uphill climb ahead of them. The Czechs have done a masterful job of handling the high-scoring Slovak top line . . . until the dying seconds, that is. 3rd period begins at 15:19 CET, 09:19 EST.
