It was one second after the penalty expired so it's not technically a power play goal, but nontheless Lev takes a 3-goal lead. It started with a shot from Martin Sevc that was deflected on goal, and following a scramble JUSTIN AZEVEDO put it in at the side. Assist: David Ullstrom.
Ivannikov made a nice save off Ridderwall on the delay.
Felix Schutz of Admiral still has another 6:02 to serve of a 10-minute misconduct, so they'll have to try to cut into this 2-goal deficit without one of their top offensive players for a while.
Shots on goal in the 2nd period (and game): Lev 10 (24), Admiral 5 (14).
Quality scoring chances: Lev 2 (5), Admiral 0 (1).
3rd period begins at 20:42 CET, 14:42 EST.
Vrana with the pass to MICHAL REPIK streaking down the right wing and he unloads an absolute rocket that beats Ivannikov just inside the far post above the blocker. Assists: Petr Vrana, Mikko Maenpaa.
The penalty is a 10-minute misconduct against Felix Schutz, so he must have said something to an official during the play. We'll stay at 5-on-5.
The whistle went for an icing call against Admiral but strangely the faceoff is going in the Lev zone. Jiri Novotny is talking to the officials, apparently trying to argue the point that the faceoff should be at the Admiral blueline but they refuse. I'm not sure if that's a rule particular to the KHL or in fact icing was negated after the fact.
The power play cashes in once again, as Justin Azevedo's shot from the boards is deflected by DAVID ULLSTROM as he's being checked to the ice, going through Ivannikov's legs for the go-ahead goal. Power-play goal. Assists: Justin Azevedo, Jiri Novotny.
Shots on goal in the 1st period: Lev 14, Admiral 9.
Quality scoring chances: Lev 3, Admiral 1.
2nd period begins at 19:51 CET, 13:51 EST.
After a slow start they've been coming on and finally score. After a failed Lev clearing attempt, two passes put the puck on the stick of FELIX SCHUTZ, who snapped it home. Assists: Richard Gynge, Yegor Antropov.
Shots 7-1 Lev so far.
Nathan Oystrick faked a shot, passed to Mikko Maenpaa, whose shot is stopped by Ivannikov, but MARTIN THORNBERG is there to put in the rebound. Power-play goal. Assists: Mikko Maenpaa, Nathan Oystrick.
Lev Praha are wearing their home red uniforms with blue and white trim and lion logo on the front, red NY Rangers-style pants and blue helmets. Admiral Vladivostok is wearing their white away uniforms with blue trim and anchor logo on the front, blue pants and white helmets.

Admiral hosted Lev back on October 1, and gave the Czech club all they could handle. Enver Lisin tied the game in the last minute of regulation time before Topi Jaakola´s second goal of the game won it for Lev, 3-2 in overtime.
Twenty-two-year-old Yevgeni Ivannikov has done a respectable job in net most of the season, and the recent acquisition of Finn Niko Hovinen has strengthened the team between the pipes. Admiral´s defence is anchored by the pair of Artyom Ternavsky and Yegor Antropov, with 11 points each, plus Stanley Cup champion Mike Commodore, who has found an appropriately-named team to play for. On a team loaded with imports, Swede Niclas Bergfors and German Felix Schütz lead the offence with 27 points each. Ex-Lion and another Swede, Richard Gynge, is also in their corps of gunners.
