Lev Praha
Sunday 26.01.2014, 14:00KHL

So Dynamo Moscow wins 2-1 to increase their KHL-leading point total to 105. Lev remains 3rd with 88. Both teams have one more game before the Olympic break. (16:26:52)

Wow, very nearly another dramatic late tying goal for Lev -- this one would have been even more surprising, considering they had been 2 men short, and it was sooo close to going in. Azevedo had him beat but the backhander through the legs hit the inside of the left skate and slid just wide.

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:49
Lev at full strength and a breakaway for Justin Azevedo, game-saving save by Alexander Lazushin on the deke attempt.

    59:23
Slapper from Ryazantsev, whistles wide, as one Lev penalty is over.

    58:50
Lev clear the zone, but they need to get posession.

    58:04
Komarov attempts a pass, deflected by Jaakola right to Vehanen, who covers.

    57:43
    Timeout Dynamo.

They clearly want to put this game away, and have a chance with a 2-man advantage for almost the rest of this game.

    57:43
And another Lev penalty coming as Martin Sevc chops at the hand of Pestushko behind the net and is called for slashing. Dynamo seem to want a major penalty for it, that's not happening but they do have a 2-man advantage late in this game with a 1-goal lead.

    57:22
Niko Kapanen is now being called for interference in the attacking zone, so with time running out this will deal a serious blow to Lev's comeback hopes.

    57:16
Clean faceoff win for Novotny and a shot from the point by Sevc, right on Lazushin, who covers again.

    57:12
Dynamo back at full strength, but Lev keeps the pressure on. We can expect this for the rest of the game. Another faceoff in the Dynamo zone.

    56:52
Another chance for Lev, first Gragnani shot from the half boards, Lazushin made the save, then stopped the rebound and covered with only :02 left in the penalty.

    56:38
Big chance for Lev, first Thornberg's slapper hit Lazushin in the arm, then Zackrisson on the rebound hit Lazushin in the shoulder as he came across. Dynamo then get a quick whistle that Lev doesn't like with :16 left in the penalty.

    56:13
Oystrick from the point, through a crowd and wide.

    55:42
Offside Lev with 1:12 left in the power play.

    54:54
Martins Karsums is getting a charging penalty for that hit on Jaakola. Dynamo bench not happy at all with the call and Lev heads back to the power play.

    54:43
Backhander by Jaakola goes wide and he's nailed just after he shoots.

    54:10
Dynamo back at full strength, Lev with better pressure that time but they're still down by a goal.

    53:40
Azevedo tries a backhand pass at the top of the crease trying to find Ullstrom but it doesn't get through and the zone is cleared.
