Despite taking a very early lead through an Emma Nordin goal the Swedes had to ride their luck at times, but three third period goals from Cecilia Ostberg, Johanna Olofsson and Pernilla Winberg killed off all German hopes.     Germany led against the group favourites Russia for a long time in their first group match, before the Russians hit back with a fantastic third period where they scored no less than four unanswered goals. Sweden only just managed to see off Japan 1-0, and they will be looking for a more convincing win tonight.
