    The Fins easily defended their huge lead in the third period which never came into danger anymore. Per-Age Skorder for Team Norway and Olli Maatta for Team Finland made it a 6-1 success for the Fins who now go into the decisive match for the group win against Canada who won the other group B match 6-0 against Austria this evening.

    After a shot from the right circle by Olli Jokinen which was an easy victim of the glove hand of Lars Volden, Finland's Leo Komarov pushed Mats Zuccarello into his own goalie who then made a hard landing on the ice – with a lot of frustration due to the result on the video board Zucarello then slashed Komarovs legs from behind but no penalty was given by the referees.
