    Kesler sees Kessel flying to the net and hits him with an amazingly timed pass that he just needs to put his stick on. No help from the defense and no chance for Salak on that one.

    Pavelski let's a shot rip that misses the net. The puck bounces off of the boards and a hustling Parise skates hard to pick up the rebound and he hits the hard angle shot for the goal.

The US is able to get away from the hassling and make some great passes in the Czech zone. McDonagh and Suter cycle before getting the puck to Backes who puts one over the top of a sprawling Pavelec for the two goal lead.
