		A real top game waits for the fans in St. Petersburg this afternoon when the second placed teams of both KHL conferences play against each other. SKA St. Petersburg are 2nd in Western Conference with 99 points in 51 games while Barys Astana are 2nd in Eastern Conference with 94 points in 51 games. Their rivals Ak Bars Kazan have a better record with 98 points but Barys lead their division. When the KHL continued on Wednesday after a four week long break for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi the SKA players had still problems to find their rhythm and lost against desperate playoff candidates Avangard Omsk (4-5 OT) on home ice. For Barys it was a similar situation when they faced playoff candidates Atlant Mytishchi (1-5) on the road and were beaten heavily. SKA's topscorers are Ilya Kovalchuk (40 pts), Artemy Panarin and Roman Cervenka (36 pts each). For Barys these are Brandon Bochenski (57 pts), Nigel Dawes (47 pts) and Dustin Boyd (37 pts). SKA as home team and due to the more stable return to KHL this week have the role as the favourites but everything is open!
