Beautiful through ball by Diego Buonanotte for YOUSSEF EL-ARABI who beats Caballero in the 1-on-1 from short distance to make it 4-1 and to give Granada the consolation goal in this game!
A beautiful soft cross by Gámez from the right wing finds JUAMI who is just on side, is able to controll the ball at the border of the Granada box, goes to the left in the 1-on-1 with Roberto and scores the 4-0 into the wide open net!
AMRABAT with a well-placed, hard shot penalty into the right bottom corner – seen from the shooter – while Roberto was on his way to the left corner! 3-0 Málaga! Is this the decision in this match?
The corner came to the near post and CAMACHO won an aeriel duel against Fran Rico and Iturra to score the 2-0 with a header just below the crossbar! Almost a copy of the first goal!
The home side takes the early lead! They went for a short corner from the left side, the ball came to Samuel and with a precise cross he found CAMACHO close to the six-yard box from where the Málaga forward scored with a beautiful header into the right corner past the chanceless Roberto!!!

Before this matchday Málaga were 12th with 35 points and Granada 13th with 34 points in 31 games each. After Rayo Vallecano's 3-0 home win against Celta de Vigo yesterday evening, both Andalusian teams fell one position each in the standings. While Málaga have a 5-point advantage towards the relegation zone, Granada have four points more than the relegation zone.
In recent weeks Málaga were successful on the road while disappointing at home. They stayed unbeaten in their last four away matches with a 3-1-0 record while not winning a single game at home since 1 February 2014. In their last match Málaga beat the last in the standings Real Betis (2-1) in another Andalusian derby when they travelled to Sevilla.
Granada escaped a bit from the relegation zone with 7 points in three games before losing the last two matches without even scoring a goal against Atlético Madrid (A, 0-1) and Levante UD (H, 0-2).
When both teams met for the first time this season, Granada won their home match with a score of 3-1.
We can expect another close game today with no real favourites.
