    Hello everyone, and welcome to this MHL playoff final match between Krasnaya Armiya Moscow and JHC Spartak Moscow. This is the second match in the battle for the Kharlamov Cup, and it's shaping up to be a thrilling series.
     
    The MHL consists of the youth teams of every KHL team and not only. Youth hockey is always fantastic to watch as we see the stars of tomorrow blossom before our own eyes, and the standard of the hockey is very high too.
     
    Krasnaya Armiya finished in seventh place of the regular championship with 120 points, whereas their opponents Spartak claimed ninth place for themselves with 112 points. Unlike in the KHL teams from the west and the east can play against each other in any round, and for the first time in a long time we have an all west, and an all Moscow, final.
     
    The Army Men had to see off Dinamo Shinnik 3-1 in the first round to meet Riga, where in a tight series they managed to claim victory 3-2. They then sweeped SKA 1946 3-0 in the next round before in the semifinals Krasnaya Armiya saw off Belie Medvedi 3-1. Spartak beat Khimik 3-0 in the first round before they met with Energia and cruised through 3-1. Almaz were then accounted for 3-2, before in the semifinals the Muscovites saw off the challenge of Bars 3-1. The first game of the series yesterday finished with a 3-1 Spartak win.
