Teams played by one game, where Canada beats Sweden 3-1 and Germany lost to Slovakia 1-4. Both teams decided to change their goalies. Points scorers by each team: Canada: Virtanen 2 (2+0), Barzal 1 (1+0), McKeown 1 (0+1); Germany: Wiederer 1 (1+0), Kammerer 1 (0+1) PP: Canada 1/7; Germany 0/5; PK: Canada 4/5; Germany 3/3.
