    Starting lineups:

Germany: Zepp (Grubauer) – Ankert, Braun, Kohl, Hordler "C", Krueger, Akdag, Reul, Muller – Mauer, Barta "A", Schutz – Hospelt, Oppenheimer, Noebels – Kink "A", Y. Seidenberg, Pietta – Rieder, Plachta, Draisaitl.

Finland: Rinne (Koskinen) – Mantyla, Hietanen, Ohtamaa, Karalahti, Kivisto, Marttinen, Lajunen – Lehtera "A", Kontiola, Palola – O. Jokinen "C", Komarov "A", Pakarinen – Immonen, Sallinen, Huhtala – Wirtanen, Savinainen, Salomaki.

Referees: Frano (CZE), Olenin (RUS) – Hull (CAN), Valach (SVK)..

The last time these two met, Finland beat Germany in overtime following a last-minute game-tying goal by Petri Kontiola and a game winner by Veli-Matti Savinainen. That was a year ago in Helsinki and so the Finns remember it won't be an easy game against the Germans, but it still is a huge opportunity for them to gain some much-needed points.

Germany, on the other hand, started the event better than expected. First, they had a little hard time with Kazakhstan to start off, but emerged as winners following shootout. Then, a regulation win over Latvia gave the Germans three more points and now they are third in the standings.

The Finns had a bad start to the tournament as they were defeated by Latvia early on and then lost the game with Russia as well. With no points, Team Suomi is seventh in the standings, which is something they'd like to improve.

One was expected to dominate and is not. The other was not and has five points out of six. Welcome to the battle of Finland and Germany, two countries that decided to make this World Championship a little bit more fun for the viewers.

    Welcome. Game starts at 15:45.
