And now the Finnish lead is just huge. LEO KOMAROV decided to take matters into his own hands, took it all the way into the zone, into the doorstep and fired it past Zepp and into the back of the net.
Assisted by Jere Karalahti and Atte Ohtamaa.
The Finns take advantage of a German turnover in the offensive zone, go the other way and get it past Zepp and into the back of the net. OLLI PALOLA finishes it off to give Suomi a three-goal lead at the halway point of the second.
Assisted by Petri Kontiola.
And now it's a two-goal lead as Finland keeps pushing on and on, knowing how critical this game might turn out to be. The Germans were pinned in their own zone and Team Suomi just passed the puck around until JARKKO IMMONEN was all alone on the doorstep, received a good pass from Lajunen and sent it top shelf on Zepp who had no chance at all.
Assisted by Ville Lajunen and Tommi Huhtala.
Zepp sure did try his best, but it wasn't enough with Finns firing on his goal all the time. PETRI KONTIOLA breaks the scoreless tie halfway through the first period as he sniped his blast of a one-timer top corner on Zepp.
Assisted by Jori Lehtera.
