Czechs under the leading of Petr Hemsky play very well on the tourmanet. Czech Republic won the opening game against Slovakia, but then lost a close one to the Americans who beat Great Britain 10-3 in the opener. Tha last game of the group A was extremely successful fort Czechs because they won 7:1 against Great Britain. Final position of Czech Republic is second place but nobody is favourite in the quarterfinal because both of oponents know each other very well.
