    SAAB is a Swedish company brought to life during the 1930's and has it's main factory located in Linköping since the 1940's. About 2 500 people from the towns population works there.

    Hello and welcome! Todays game is a bit delayed because of a large car accident in Stockholm, where the team Pardubice was taking a bus from to reach Linköping. The game will start about ten minutes later then pre said game time.
     
    Important news: The start of the game Linköping HC vs. HC ČSOB Pojišťovna Pardubice will be delayed because the visiting team got stuck in the traffic in Stockholm.
     
    Linköping will take on HC Pardubice and kick off the CHL premiere in SAAB Arena.
    A packed arena is to be expected as well. Both Linköping and
    Pardubice played two pre-season games and both had one win and one loss.

    Last season, Linköping ended up in the semifinals of the
    SHL playoffs. Pardubice fell out of the playoffs in the Czech
    League while in the quarterfinals.
