Djurgardens IF – Eisbären Berlin 3:2 final score

And game is over also in Stockholm, Djurgarden won 3:2. Eisbären did play shorthanded since 57th minute because Andre Rankel got a 5 minute major and game misconduct for high sticking. Eisbären tried to pull goalie Vehanen at the end, but with no luck.

Eisbären stays at the bottom of group D with a single point, DIF trails leading duo PSG Zlin – Fribourg-Gotteron being one point behind.

Both teams will meet on Sunday in Berlin's O2 arena. (22:44:55)

Djurgarden – Eisbären is the only remaining game in progress for today, 3:2 for Djurgarden at 54th minute.

Djurgaren – Eisbaren Berlin 2:2 in the 50th minute

Eisbären Berlin took momentum of the game in Stockholm. First, Andre Rankel hit the post and after a little while Rankel assisted Mark Bell at his shorthanded equalizer! Hans Särkijärvi, coach of DIF, takes a time out.

Lulea is 50% effective in their powerplays. 8 penalties for Hamburg and 4 powerplay goals for Lulea. They also leads league's scoring efficiency stats with 17.95%

Their scorers today: Ledin, Petrell, Fogstrom, Wallmark, Granstrom and Zaar.

56:09 in the game, Marcus Nilsson of HV71 scores his third goal of the match!

HV71 misses Kevin Fiala and Bjorn Melin in today's game, but apparently depth of their roster is enough to cope even with such a outages.

Red Bull Salzbug – JYP Jyväskylä 4:0 final score

Jyväskylä pulled their goalie at 57:32 while being down by 3 goals, but Salzburg hit only the post of the empty net. Followed by a foul of Hubacek (JYP), subsequent powerplay opened the way to David Meckler who scored fourth goal for Red Bull.

Shotout for Luka Gracnar (35 saves tonight) and HV71 5:0 in Kloten lead in the last period means that after Gameday 3, Salzburg, Jyväskylä and HV71 will be tied with 6 points each in the group I and all three teams have the same chances to be seen in playoffs.

Djurgården Stockholm – Eisbären Berlin 2:1 after the second period.

Some quick passes and a shot from the top of the face off circle and we have 2:1 for Djurgården in the two man advantege. Goal was scored by defenseman Alexander Deilert.

American Brett Sterling makes it 3:0 for Salzburg. Nice pass by Raffl finds Sterling in front of the open net. 4 mnutes to go.

Sterling helped team USA to win its first gold at the IIHF World Under-18 Championship back in 2002. He scored 9 goals in 8 games that tournament, while playing with such a names like Zach Parise, Ryan Kessler and Patrick Eaves.

Lulea – Hamburg 3:0 after the second period.

Perell and Fogrtrom scored in the second period and solid performance of Daniel Larsson in Lulea's net gives home side an easy situation for the third period. Hamburg are still with only goal from inaugural game at home against Lulea, their next endeavours in Rauma and Lulea are goalless.

Kloten Flyers – HV71 Jönköping 0:4 after the second period

555 NHL games has Marcus Nilsson under his belt and it's no wonder he plays a huge role in HV71's offensive. His second goal of the night came when James Vandermeer of Kloten got a 2 minutes + 5 minutes + game misconduct penalty after a nasty foul on Jamtin. In the back-to-back 5-4 powerplay, HV71's captain Ted Brithen topped up the score to 4:0 for his team.
HC CSOB Pojistovna Pardubice released a footage of the press conference after the game with Linköping:

Luleå – Hamburg 1:0 after the first period

Per Ledin found the puck in the traffic in front of Sebastian Caron to make it 1:0 for Lulea. Ledin ties Stephen Dixon atop the Cramo Top Scorer race for his team.

It must be a really entertaining night in Bolzano, as our reporter really enjoys the game: What a first period! It seemed like TPS was on their way to another easy win but Bolzano showed some impressive strength with that comeback. Can't wait for the second period to start!
Speaking of Cramo Top Scorer, have you seen this video with Cramo Top Scorer profiles from gamedays 1&2?

And Anton Bernard ties the game for Bolzano. We have a new Cramo Top Scorer for Foxes.

Bolzano – TPS 2:2 in the first period

There has been a recent decision by CHL disciplinary committee, Anton Karlsson of Skelleftea AIK has received supplementary disciplinary action for an incident that occurred Thursday night in Champions Hockey League action. As a result, he will miss one game. Read more about the case here

Kloten Flyers – HV71 0:2 after the first period

15 shots by HV71 and only 5 by Kloten, that describes the game clearly. If Kloten fails to win any points today, their situation at the bottom of Group I will be terrible with almost no chances to advance to play-offs.

Red Bull Salzbug – JYP Jyväskylä 1:0 after first period

Home team goalie Gracnar recorded 11 saves and is the main reason why RBS had a solid start to this game. Lone goal came from the shot of Czech defenseman Zdenek Kutlak.

Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie 3:2 after penalty shots

Backhander by Joonas Donskoi decided the tight game in the 8th series of long shootout. Home side was capable to recover in the third period from Cologne's 0:2 lead and they stays atop of Group A with 8 points.

Cologne will have a chance for revenge in a short time, as two clubs will meet again on Sunday in Germany.

And her we have a hero of the shootout. Joonas Donskoi managed to score three times in the penalty shootout and because his teammate Tarkki did stop Iggulden of Cologne, extra point goes to Kärpät Oulu.

12 penalty shots so far in Oulu, but still no decision about the winner. Home side did changed goalie during the shootout, Karhunen has been replaced by Tarkki.

    Remaining three games are underway:
    Luleå – Hamburg
    Djurgården – Eisbären
    Bolzano – TPS

HC CSOB Pojistovna Pardubice – Linköpings HC 3:6 final score

Linköping dominated in the first period, Pardubice managed to recover in the second, but third period wasn't comparable to the previous two with the pace and intensity and Pardubice couldn't get the momentum in their favor. Broc Little recorder three points while Jakub Vrana two (both LHC).

Pardubice hosts TPS Turku on Sunday and they need to win that game in order to maintain any chances to stay in the CHL after the round robin.

Linköpings HC will travel to Bolzano for Sunday game and likely they win, play-offs will be almost sure for them.

Lukko Rauma – Nottingham Panthers 6:2, final score

Game has been controlled by the home side, Panthers will have to wait for their first Champions hockey league points until Sunday, when they play at Lulea.

Lukko Rauma leads the standings of Group K with 3-0 game record, and hosts Hamburg Freezers on Sunday.

Overtime in Oulu is one sided, but Aus den Birken keeps hopes of his team to reach at least penalty shootout.

Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie goes to overtime,2:2 after the third period.

The fastest goal of the night, Marcus Nilson from HV71 scores in just 24 seconds of the game in Kloten!

Zdenek Kutlak makes the first record to the scoring sheet in Salzburg against JYP, 1:0.

And while in Pardubice it seems already decided, we will have a competitive finish in Oulu. Onetimer by Adam Mashur erased Kölner lead, 56th minute of the game now.

We have it 6:3 in Pardubice for Linköping, Mattias Sjogren scores sixth goal from the penalty shot and with 8 minutes to go in the third it's almost impossible for home side to recover.

Lukko Rama scores 6th goal to the Nottingham's net (Koivisto is the scorer), and Linkoping extends its lead to 5:3 in Pardubice after Chad Kolarik score on the powerplay.

Kolarik scored 30 goals in 53 games of regular round in Swedish elite league in last season and became the best goal scorer of the league. He added another 6 in playoffs, 5 in European trophy and 1 in his appearance for American national team, which makes an impressive number of 41 goals in a single season!

Another two games starts soon, Red Bull Salzburg hosts JYP Jyväskylä on 19:30 and 15 minutes later drops the puck in game Kloten – HV71. Font forget you can watch all game LIVE.

Goal for Kärpät Oulu. Joonas Donskoi works hard in the corner and gives it to Kemppainen. Hard onetimer by Joonas Emppainen leaves no chance for Aus den Birken.

Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie 1:2

Second period is over in Pardubice and Oulu:

HC CSOb Pojistovna Pardubice – Linköpings HC 3:4
Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie 0:2

We have first goal scored for Nottingham Panthers in Rauma. USA born forward Evan Mosey, who played in the Netherlands in the last season, made it 1:4, but answer came soon by Jerry Ahtola.

Lukko Rauma – Nottingham Panthers 5:1

Amazing and important save by Halasz in the goal crease, puck stopped by the edge of his blocker after a breakaway by Andresson and Sjogren. Huge applause in Arena Pardubice for home goalie.

Lukas Radil makes it more interesting in Pardubice. Nice feed by Vaclav Benak and poor defence of Linköping helped to cheer home crowd. Tomas Zohorna adds another goal in a short time with a nice shot from the point. Pardubice back in the game!

    Pardubice – Linköping 3:4

Patrick Davis, current Cramo Top Scorer for Lukko Rauma, was close to his third goal of the season, but he failed to hit the open net. Game still 0:0.

Second period in Pardubice started and we have a change in home net. Robert Kristan has been replaced by Tomas Halasz, it seems that four goals out of 10 shots has been to much for Zdenek Venera, head coach of Pardubice.

Pathers' hopes for this gameday has been shut down quickly. Goals by Gagnon, Vahalahti, Niskala and Piitulainen made it 4:0 for Lukko Rauma after the first period.

Ville Vahalahti added two assists and takes over the lead as his team's Cramo Top Scorer with 5 points in 3 games.

Lukko Rauma – Nottingham Panthers 4:0 after 1st period

The first period is over in Oulu, game scoreless so far. Julius Juntilla was close to a goal in his shorthanded breakway, but Aus den Birken managed to keep his sheet clean.

Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie 0:0 after 1st period

And Jeff Taffe makes it 1:4 for Linköping. Karol Korim of Pardubice could have scored a few seconds after that goal in great chance, but failed. Pardubice is in a desperate need of the first intermission, which comes in one minute.

    Pardubice – Linköping 1:4

Lukko Rauma – Nottingham Panthers 2:0!
Aaron Gagon scores the opening goal and later his forechecking lead to the second, scored by Vahalahti.

Quick comeback pro Linköping! Broc Little assisted on equalized and added second goal for his team, and after another 70 seconds Jonas Almtrop tops up the score. Cold shower for Pardubice!

    Pardubice – Linkoping 1:3

Nottingham Panthers will miss their Czech forward Martin Podlesak for at least two CHL games. Podlesak asked to fly home due to family reasons on Wednesday. The club have agreed and are now waiting to discover if Podlesak, who signed a short term deal to cover the Champions Hockey League campaign, will be able to return.

Forwards Chris Higgins, Oliver Betteridge and Mark Lee are also missing for Panthers and so they dressed only 9 forwards tonight in Rauma. It's going to be a tough job for Panthers tonight.

Coach of Sharks from Cologne Uwe Krup dressed only 18 skaters for tonight. He misses Andreas Holmqvist, experienced Swedish defenceman, who has been sidelined since DEL final series, and also another blueliner Alexander Selzer, who suffered an injury in CHL game with Liberec. Sulzer has been one of the biggest aditions to Haie roster, he played more 130 NHL games in last 5 seasons overseas. Up front, Mike Iggulden shoud experience his first CHL icetime for Haie.

Kärpät Oulu and Kölner Haie meets in back-to-back games this weekend – tonight in Finland and on Sunday in Cologne. Finnish champion Oulu and DEL's runner-up, that's promising match-up. You can watch Champions hockey league games live, don't miss to purchase your day pass.

Three games starts in 20 minutes:
HC CSOB Pojistovna Pardubice – Linköpings HC
    Lukko Rauma – Nottingham Panthers
    Kärpät Oulu – Kölner Haie

Pardubice does have a difficulties with their roster today, as Radovan Somik, Libor Pivko an Jiri Puhony are sidelined due to injury, Radoslav Tybor got a flu recently and Jan Stary is not eligible to play in Champions hockey league, because he was acquired just after the CHL rosters has been closed. They will dress up some juniors to fill vacant spots.

Linköping arrived to Pardubice on Thursday afternoon and head coach Roger Melin knows that game will be completely different than their first clash in Sweden (2-1 for Linköping). "In Linköping, they had almost no time for pre-game warm up due to traffic jam and despite that played really well. We expect a tough game today," said Melin for LHC.eu.
