    There is the final buzzer, and in their first KHL game of the season CSKA Moscow have seen off their Moscow rivals Dynamo comfortably 4:1! They had to ride their luck at times, but they took advantage of their chances masterfully. Nikolay Zherdev struck first to break the deadlock for Dynamo, before a double from Stephane Da Costa and goals from Igor Grigorenko and Nikita Zaitsev gave CSKA the three points.     Dynamo had been holders of the Gagarin Cup for two seasons in a row, but their reign came to an end as they were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl last season. CSKA also lost in the first round, to SKA Saint Petersburg, but with star forward Alexander Radulov still in their ranks they will be wanting to perform better this time around.
     
    This will already be the second match of the KHL season for Dynamo, after they got thumped by Metallurg Magnitogorsk 6:1 in their opening game. It's CSKA's first time out though, and their fans are expecting a lot from their team.
