So Kosice are celebrating the first victory, Liberec is complicating the situation into the group. That´s all from my side, bye from Kosice and see you next time! (20:00:50)
Kosice again in lead! Wow, that was an amazing breakaway by PETER BARTOS! He got an ideal pass from Spilar to the left side, skated into the offense zone and finished by fast wrist shot to the left upper corner, Lasak had no chance to save – 4:3!

Unbelievable, what is happening in Kosice tonight! We see the fourth goal in last 3 minutes! Milan Kolena had too much space into the offense zone, sent a great shot from left circle and MATEJ CESIK changed the puck directly into the net – 3:3!
Assistance by Milan Kolena
Oh, Liberec changed the game history and is winning again! Wonderful play by Czech team! It made a fast breakaway, the first shot by Valsky was blocked, but then MICHAL BULIR took the puck between the circles and scored by fast wrist-shot to the left bottom corner – 2:3!
Assistance by Jakub Valsky
4 on 4 game looked like power-play of Liberec and equaliser came as a result! MARTIN BARTEK skated in the offense zone, passed to the left circle and sent a clever wrist-shot to the left bottom corner, Hylak blocked by pad, but puck finished into the net – 2:2!

What to say, beautiful, lovely game from home team! Hrnka skated with puck into the offense zone, found Lapsansky, who was alone on right circle. He came to the middle, passed to Drgon on right side, who didn´t shot to open net! But Kosice stayed in holding of puck, Drgon took puck again, passed again to ADAM LAPSANSKY, who hit the puck into the empty net – 2:1!
Assistance by Adam Drgon
The second power-play goal of tonight game results into the equaliser! Kosice locked Liberec into the defense zone, ADAM LAPSANSKY had a space on left circle, made a nice wrist-shot, Lasak didn´t see the puck and saw it just later in net behind him – 1:1!

The leader of a group is Karpat Oulu with eight points. It won on shotouts 3-2 with Kolner Haie on Friday. Also Liberec is in really good situation – with six points on second place. Kosice didn´t earn any points and is on last place. Today´s match is important for both teams – Kosice wants to revive the chance for qualification into the next phase, Liberec wants to secure the second position.
Standings :
1. Karpat Oulu 8 points
2. Bili Tygri Liberec 6 points
3. Kolner Haie 4 points
4. HC Kosice 0 points
The most productive player of HC Kosice (Cramo Top Scorer) is Richard Jencik with 2 points.
The most productive player of Liberec (Cramo Top Scorer) is Michal Bulir with 5 points. Bulir is at sixth position in productivity standings of CHL.
Czech team from Liberec didn´t start the CHL well, it lose in first home game against Oulu. This tight lose was a kind of motivation for Tigers, they improved their performance and won matches in Kolner and with Kosice! The ninth team of last year Czech Championship is in quite good mood and looking for position in first two places in group. There are well known players in roster – the goaltender Jan Lasak won three medals with Slovak national team, defender Martin Skoula won Stanley cup in NHL with Colorado and forward Petr Vampola won two medals with Czech national team. Liberec offers a good mix of talent and experiences.
The only one Slovak represents has a difficult time in Champions league yet. It played three very good, balanced games with strong opponents, but lost all three with one goal. 1-2 with Kolner and Oulu, 2-3 at Liberec. The management of club isn´t satisfied, what resulted into the changes in roster. Marek Zagrapan, Dusan Pasek and Tomas Kloucek left the club after the match in Liberec. After the half of matches in group, there is a still chance for ,,Steelers” – but it urgently needs to win Saturday´s match against Czech opponent from Liberec. Liberec should be afraid of second formation of Kosice – Bartos, Jencik and Spilar played quite good in previous matches. Fans in Hockeytown are looking forward to this match and we expect nice attendance, like it was in first home match with Oulu.
