The final buzzer goes at the Coop Arena, and Lulea Hockey have once again torn the Panthers apart, this time by a 9-1 scoreline. It was a case of the youth leading the charge, as young forwards Peter Cehlarik and Daniel Zaar had two goals apiece as the home side were 7-0 up through 25 minutes. Joel Lassinantti almost had a shutout, but Cody Wild's late shot beat the young Swedish goaltender. Craig Kowalski had to make 37 saves but was powerless to prevent Lulea's powerhouse offence. Lulea have now all but secured their qualification from Group K with four wins out of four and now move on to face Finnish side Lukko Rauma in their final two Champions Hockey League group game.

Speaking after the game, Nottingham Panthers head coach said, "it was tough when they're fourth line is faster than our first line", but that his team will "keep their heads high".

CODY WILD brings the puck down the left wing and hammers a slapshot which is too hot to handle for Lassinantti, who gets a piece of the puck but it trickles over the line.
