    The home team is going to battle for the playoffs. The only chance for them is to get a three-point win, because they are three points behind Vaxjo Lakers. Sparta started the tournament really well and won the first three games, but getting just one point in the next two made their situation much more complicated.

    The visiting team is traveling to Prague for their last match in the CHL this season. The Germans have won twice so far and got only five points. They are last in their group at the moment with no chance to get to the playoffs. The maximum Mannheim can do is winning against Sparta and getting to the third place over KalPa Kuopio.
