		There is the final buzzer, and Dynamo Moscow with a clinical performance have seen off the challenge of Severstal Cherepovets 5:1! The visitors had plenty of opportunties, but Dynamo's ruthlessness in front of goal proved to be the key. Kaspars Daugavins, Maxim Karpov, Alexey Tsvetkov, Maxim Pestushko and Matt Robinson all got on the scoreboard, while Zakhar Arzamatsev replied for Severstal. 	55:59	Martins Karsums somehow creates an opening for himself when skating in from well outside the attacking zone, but from close range he backhands against Roman Smiryagin's pads! That was a great play from Dynamo's number 15!
	55:30	Crouched down blocker side Alexander Yeryomenko covers up a rolling puck with attackers closing him down. The home faithful are in fine voice as the game starts to run down!
	54:23	Maxim Pestushko battles his way on to the crease peeling off the right hand boards, looks to sneak it into the near corner but he lets it run away from him!
	53:21	Severstal's powerplay is just not working for them today and it's a five on five hockey game again
	52:39	Maxim Karpov shorthanded breaks away almost clean through, but Severstal defencemen do excellently to out muscle him at the vital moment!
	51:37	Andrey Shefer and co. move their sticks around looking to gobble up a juicy rebound on the Dynamo slot, but again the netminder is alert to the danger
	51:21	Just like earlier Dynamo have gone to sleep and they've got some more defending to do, as forward Nikolay Zherdev has been penalised for holding
	50:06	Shefer! Andrey Shefer charging in from deep evades the whole Dynamo defence working his way to the doorstep, but he can only weakly wrist into Alexander Yeryomenko! He has been very solid for the home team today!

	42:40	The chances are coming thick and fast for Dynamo who have noticeably stepped it up a gear! Denis Mosalyov is all alone on the slot, he looks to wrap it beyond the goalkeeper but he loses his bearings at the last minute!
	41:38	Maxim Karpov holds the puck up behind the net, sneaks through free to the right hand post but as it was about to roll over the line the goaltender gets his glove on it!
	40:49	Tvsetkov! Both goalkeepers are making some wonderful saves today! Feeding off a pass from the right of the crease Alexey Tvsetkov takes aim from point blank range, but he's denied by a stunning pad save from Roman Smiryagin! That's the save of the day so far!
	40:41	The third and deciding period is underway! Dynamo will be confident of seeing it out, but they can't afford to take their foot off the gas!

	38:25	Tsvetkov! Severstal poorly cough up the puck inside the attacking zone, Maxim Karpov takes it up pinned up against the right hand boards, picks out Alexey Tsvetkov but when seemingly trying to talk it in he can't dig it out from under his stick!
	37:32	Now Evgeniy Mons evades the entire home defence, crawls through one on one but fails to stuff it under the goalkeeper! Dynamo seems to have switched off after scoring their fifth!
	36:40	Nikontsev! Just how didn't he hit the net there! The puck is bouncing all around Dynamo's crease, almost on the goal line Anatoliy Nikontsev hacks away at at but somehow Alexander Yeryomenko keeps him out! What a save that is!
	33:42	As Alexander Yeryomenko taps a tricky Evgeniy Mons effort wide with his blocker Dynamo come back to full strength, they looked very solid killing those penalties!
	33:20	Shinin! Alexander Shinin all alone on the right faceoff circle creates mayhem on the slot with a powerful effort, and on the rebound Vadim Berdnikov just can't get his stick on it!
	32:33	Seconds after Adam Almqvist had a slapshot shut down by Alexander Yeryomenko Pavel Buchnevich collects to the right of the crease, he plays it across the danger zone and after a sharp deflection the goaltender flashes leather!
	31:42	And that has very promptly turned into a five on three for the visitors, as now Dynamo's Andrey Mironov has been penalised for hooking as well! The visitors can't afford to let this go to waste!

	28:16	Maxim Karpov takes on a wrist shot when pulling to the high slot, but Roman Smiryagin fields it solidly. Severstal can't let their heads drop despite already having a mountain to climb!

	27:01	Stolyarov! Severstal are creating very decent opportunities when breaking away! Gennady Stolyarov gets the better of his opponent on the left wing, shoots but can't find the near corner! And on the rebound Pavel Buchnevich is denied by Alexander Yeryomenko from the doorstep!
	26:20	Denis Kokarev spins around from a tight angle on the left, on the turn takes aim but it gets deflected up and out of play. The Dynamo fans are in fine voice, with the stands being largely full!
	25:25	Nekolenko! Ilya Nekolenko slaps with real force from the blue line, but Alexander Yeryomenko gets his big right pad out on time to kick it out!
	23:46	Gennady Stolyarov shapes to let a heavy slapper go on the right faceoff circle after a fast counterattack, but he falls over his own skates at the vital moment!
	22:47	Pavel Chernov looks for an instant Severstal response, but his powerful effort from the high slot is excellently palmed away by Alexander Yeryomenko. They will be angered by letting in such a cheap goal so quickly!
	21:15	Goal for Dynamo! Up steps ALEXEY TSVETKOV, and cutting slightly to the left of the crease he neatly beats the netminder wristing deftly into the far corner! It's 3:1!
	21:15	Dynamo have been gifted a penalty shot right at the beginning of the period! Alexey Tvsetkov was chopped down when one on one and the referees have indicated a penalty shot for the hists!
	20:47	Maxim Pestushko moves in sharply skating away hard down the right, cuts in sharply but his wrist shot is turned away comfortably by Roman Smiryagin
	20:23	The second stanza is go! Dynamo fell away a bit after going two to the good and they will want to pick it up again!

	19:42	We're now into the final seconds of an engrossing first period!
	18:04	Yury Babenko despite having options opening up for him shoots himself peeling in off the left flank, but it crashes wide of the near post! Both sides are showing real adventure in the attack!
	15:41	Denis Mosalyov falling on to his backside still gets away an attempt that's beaten away by Roman Smiryagin, and on the rebound as it's hammered in from the blue line the goalkeeper also not keeping his balance just about manages to cover it up!
	14:42	Alexander Osipov slaps in from the point, but that's right down Roman Smiryagin's throat. And surviving that scare Severstal are back at full strength
	13:01	Gorovikov! Just how didn't he score! Off a clever play deep inside Severstal's zone Konstantin Gorovikov is found by the left hand post, but despite the goalkeeper being out of position he fails to hit the net! The home fans aren't happy with that at all!
	12:42	And from that play the hosts have earned a well needed powerplay, as Severstal's Yury Trubachyov has been handed a two minute minor for hooking
	12:38	Daugavins! Kaspars Daugavins takes up the puck past the left faceoff circle, has clear space between him and the goalkeeper but his low wrister is turned around the near post!
	12:30	And now the Dynamo goaltender confidently holds on to a dangerous looking effort just into the high slot. It's Dynamo who look shaky now, it's turning into a thrilling opening period!
	12:01	Almqvist! Severstal could have already been level, that goal has really livened them up! Fed completely unmarked cutting down on the right wing Adam Almqvist looks to go upstairs on Alexander Yeryomenko, but he contrives to fire over the net! That was a fantastic chance!
	10:29	Goal for Severstal! That was certainly unexpected! Severstal sprint away on a counterattack all the way from their own zone, and as it's neatly played to the left faceoff circle ZAKHAR ARZAMATSEV sweeps it home! It's 2:1! Assists- Maxim Kvapil and Vadim Berdnikov

	08:17	Severstal began rather brightly but they're really up against it now! Rather surprisingly their head coach didn't even opt to take a timeout despite those two quick fire markers!

		Dynamo have picked up after a slow start to the season, and they lay in fourth place of the Western Conference on 30 points. Today's visitors Severstal also haven't had the worst beginning, as they are currently in seventh place of the same conference. These two have already met this campaign, as Dynamo saw off their opponents 3:2 in Cherepovets.
