Tuesday 11.11.2014, 17:30 • Kisapuisto • Champions League

    Welcome. Game starts at 17:30.

This live text coverage is produced by www.championshockeyleague.net.

Live blog from Kisapuisto will start 18:00 finnish time, 17:00 CET as the starting line-ups will be revealed.

Genève Servette Hockey Club hasn't done that much better in theit national league. Genève Servette has won only once in their last five games and is currently at eighth place in the Swiss NLA.

SaiPa has been in a slump recently in the finnish league as they haven't won a game in a regular time in a month. Last time the Sputniks won a game without going to overtime was in october 4th when they defeated recently promoted Sport from Vaasa 6-2. After that game the team has gone 0-4-3-2 in their last nine games.

One week ago the teams played the first leg of the 1/8 finals and Genève Servette has a 2-0 lead, heading into the game. This means that if SaiPa wants to make it to the quarterfinals, it has to win the game by three goals. If the aggregate is tied after regular time, a 10 minute overtime will be played with sudden death. If th game is still tied after overtime, a penalty shootout will determine the winner.
